New members welcome and photos

Hi, I think I’m now in the right area. I’ve just put a deposit down on a 2008 997 turbo cab. 36.000 miles in Atlas grey with only two owners. I’m going away on Thursday so can’t pick it up for a couple of weeks. Gutted!! I’d like to say thank you to the members that responded to me when I was in the wrong area of the forum. And a big thank you to Jim Robinson from the Northwich area of Cheshire, who has been just brilliant!

Im in Cheshire and thinking of getting my car transported up here from Surrey. Do you know of any companies that have the covered transporter?

thank you

Jamie

Hello all.

Just picked up our replacement for our much loved 996 C2 last week. A 997 C2 wearing GT3 & Aerokit goodies.

Had a lovely brunch with the club members at the 997 meet this morning. A good start to a great day out in the 997.

Congrats on your purchase! Very nice!

Welcome, it's a wonderful looking car. Just remove the external GT3 badges and it will be perfect [:D]

Here are some pics of my 997 that I picked up last week. I’m afraid that I’m putting them in a succession of posts as its all a bit of a faff uploading them to a photo sharing site and then pasting the urls to get them in a single post - sorry!
