Has anyone had any experience of the Gaz gold (with telescopic rear)?
Now that I've decided to go for the KW, I'm very excited and impatient. Like a child wanting his Xmas present!ORIGINAL: Copperman05 I think you will be very happy with the KW coilovers, I have mine set at the factory suggested settings and I find them very good on road and track, the track is where they really come alive though IME. On a recent day at Silverstone my racing driver instructor commented on how tight the car felt, which he found surprising considering the age of the car, and that's with no poly bushes, etc. Says it all really...
I did this and Promax only needed to change 1 bush, maybe I was lucky. 25th March! at Bedford! Is Chris at CG fitting it for you? EddORIGINAL: aporschefan I've gone all out and am having any bushes that need changing replaced. (Most likely to be all of them!) Will need to find myself a driving instructor too and join you guys at some track days.
Thanks for this. I'll chat with Chris and decide what to do.ORIGINAL: 333pg333 Unless there has been a significant change to the design/construction to the KW topmount camber plates, I would NOT order them with your purchase. I had them delivered with my race version suspension and they were an inferior product. My advice would be to get the Racers Edge version from the US. Or I think Olli's friend Atti might make a nice version also. The metal plate that the top of the shock attaches to bent out of shape ( I have pics) and we were told by the factory to just hammer them back straight. Not very good. Also, the design of their plate vs the R.E. offering meant that we got into the bump stops due to running out of travel. The RE ones give you significantly more travel due to a different design than the KW version.
hope to see you at Bedford. Yup, Chris at CG is supplying, fitting, and carrying out a full chassis set up and tune etc.ORIGINAL: Copperman05 I did this and Promax only needed to change 1 bush, maybe I was lucky. 25th March! at Bedford! Is Chris at CG fitting it for you?
What do you think of the KLA offerings Pat?
