Photoshoot

O you have twisted my arm, I know of some graffiti walled areas that were in the Porsche 911 world (RS article).

Oulton sounds good, and like you say most of the cars will be doing their thing on the track lol.

Im thinking somewhere Industrial/Urban might be best, as its somthing different.

If anybody wants to add locations go ahead, this should be a gd un.

Count me in ... 15th sounds good.

As an alternative location - what about Jodrell Bank?
- or Rookery Hall near Nantwich? They do a good spread as well [8D]

Blimey, a post from Roy! [8D]

I was amazed I didn't get deafened by a ring tone while I was reading it [:D]

Ive been thinking about Oulton, it sounds pretty cool.

The cars that are on the track i could get some rolling shots of, and the other cars i could take the pics whilst they are in the paddock.

Does anybody know if the pits garages are open that day, to let people use tyre warmers etc?

Just thinking about the people that cant make the track day but still want some pics taking, would they be up for a meet somewhere?

Yes pit garages are open. Fraser and myself have booked garages. You're welcome to plonk your stuff in with us. (Fraser, we NEED a bigger jar of coffee and more cakes! :ROFLMAO:).

As far as rolling shots go you'll have 65 Porsches to choose from [:)]. Most of them more exotic than ours though []

Roger that, Steve. Mrs Fraser will be pitching in with weapons grade photographic equipment as well.

Right Oulton it is!

What time, and is there anybody i could meet once i get there so i know who is who lol.

Im there on the 15th but you'd not want me on the shoot as the car gets covered in brake dust after one lap!!!

But I thought I'd pop in to say hello as the forum is very quiet and although I see a lot of Porsches around I'd wrongly assumed that there were no track day people around (except for Boxsey).

One of the guys mentioned Rookery Hall that's just down the road from me. Also, I see another GT3 (silver) around town with a plate that looks like"GIGGLE".

Are the regional meets much fun?

Cheers
Rikki

Come along to the Feb and/or March monthly evening meetings at the Deanwater and then you'll know some of the faces for the day. The March meet is the Wednesday prior to the RS trackday. My vote is for Roddy and Nick to organise the group photo shoots as myself (aka Boxsey on other forums), Fraser and Ricardo will be busy most of the time on track duty (not sure if Graham is tracking aswell).

Rik, most nights there's a talk/presentation as the focal point of the evening and lots of time to chat and have a look at other owner's cars. Those travelling a longer distance arrive an hour earlier and have dinner in the restaurant - good food from what I've seen. Oh, and don't forget tms996 (above) who will shortly be joining our NorthWest trackday ranks when he loses his virginity [:D]

Hey Rikki,

I am partial to the odd track day [;)][;)][:D]

See you at Oulton.
