Porsche 944 Prices - The Future....

ORIGINAL: Waylander I have the answer for 968 owners just advertise them as 944 S3 the values will rocket
[:D] Given 113,000 944s produced, compared to less than 13,000 968s, they will always be rare. Combine that with the last-of-the-line desirability, and good ones will always be worth buying. Imagine if they'd had a turbo in the regular production though? Upped to above the 300BHP mark as standard, it'd have sold well.

ORIGINAL: Riggernut Evening chaps, you're quite right it was for sale throughout Oct/Nov priced at £7000. It's not concours and I really wasn't sure about pricing especially with the latest dealer offerings. Had quite a few test pilots who didn't bother to actually look at the car in any detail, but pestered to drive it and one serious buyer who couldn't get close to the figure in my head. It is diamond metallic blue which is quite distinctive and even though I'm biased, definitely the fastest colour out there!! It's a fine car as it is and could be brought up to concours quite easily, the question is, how much would it cost and what are the potential profits? Hopefully that's for the buyer to decide.....
A sad day, she sold today. Just got to tell my lad his 'race car' has moved on, he's 3 by the way!! The best car I've owned to date and it's true what they say, there's no such thing as a cheap Porsche...Onwards and upwards!

not at the price they were asking back then 35K was a lot of money back in 1994, if they had been a bit more sensible about the price they could have sold a lot more, 968 Turbo S think they only made about 40, and Turbo RS only 4

I feel your pain, I had to tell my 2 and three quarter year old his favourite car was gone when I sold the convertible a few weeks back. Thankfully daddy still has a turbo, no sunroof never mind no roof, but he'll appreciate it more with time! Stuart
