Porsche Spotting

Saw on Sunday a very red B reg 944 Lux just outside Shalford and then only 2 minutes later a gold 944 Lux leaving Bramley. I flashed and waved and got no response from either....oh well.[:(]

A white 944, Turbo or S2 I think but it was a quick pass, J31 M6 Southbound at about 1645 today.
SWMBO spotted a car very much like this going up Lindale Hill in the Lakes yesterday (Sunday) at about 18:15 - wonder if he turned round?

Red 968 Cabriolet in St Annes, Marks & Sparks car park, about 14:40 yesterday. Amazingly, an adult had managed to get in the back seat!

guys 23 pages of this and it seems none of the owners frequent these boards.

I think its about time we designed a business card sized card to promote this forum that we can put on people's windscreen . That is if it doesn't conflict with some bloomin PCGB edict or policy or members only ruling.... groan.[:(]

What say you all ?

A great idea and one that the MX-5 owners club already do and it seems to work well.

Meanwhile there's a 944 S2 just below my window, ironically, and I have had a wave from the owner but he's not a member of the club, apparently.

Drove 40 miles down the M6 this morning to Stoke and didn't see another single 944 - couple of Boxsters, but that's all!

I'll be heading back up later via the A34, so keep your eyes peeled if you're Porsche mounted![:D]

Both today:

A black E reg Turbo in Blackpool parked near the Empire Garage with Porsche crests on its wings and Cup 3s. Looked very shiny.

A red 944 of unknown type (only caught a glance) on a driveway just off Forest Drive in Lytham. I think it had Cup 1s.

You've driven right past my house then (but my car was in the garage). Is it your car where the last 3 letters of the registration are a bit like PET?

No, mine is NJR.

I'll have to look out on the off chance yours is basking in the sunshine one day!
