Porsche Spotting

I'd never encountered another 944 since getting mine, until yesterday. And then, in typical fashion, I saw 2!

A red 944 (Lux, I suspect) at Halfords in Redditch around 1:30pm. Personalised numberplate, so no idea of year.

A dark coloured 944 on the southbound M6 sometime after 11pm, I came past it, and then it pulled out behind me. i gave him a quick flash of hazards and got a cheery headlight flash in return.

Nice seeing some others out and about.

Saw a White S2 Cabriolet in Lytham today - Station Road, at about 16:00. That's 4 cabs I've seen within a mile of home now (including mine) - Blue, Red, Black and White. Common as muck!

Seen a few 944s recently. There's the 944 turbo in Baltic Blue ( I think) parked up in Hove that I see fairly regularly. Nice graphite twist alloys.

Red S2/Turbo doing a cheeky U-turn on the Crawley/Horsham bypass and just a few minutes later......

.......coming off at Broadbridge Heath I saw a 944 Turbo (rare ish) Cabriolet (rarer still) in Maritime (surely so rare it's unique). If you want to sell, let me know....[;)]

Naturally in all three cases I wasn't in my own 944, but this is normal.

Turns out I have seen this 944 Cab before as I have inadvertently photographed it at the Goodwood Breaksfast meet in June. Loving this orange 911SC too.

Saw a red 944 cab around J17 of the M6 heading south on Friday afternoon and then a white 944t with the Silver Rose Turbo decal on its front wing, it was stuck in the southbound traffic queue around the Knutsford junction of the M6.

I was in the 944, but obviously couldn't exchange waves....[8|]

Very nice looking Grey/Dark Silver 944 S2 on a1 southbound just below boroughbridge in north yorkshire with 911 following behind

Saw a White 944 cab at the Oxford Peartree roundabout just off the M40 today - beloved and I were scoffing grub in the Little Chef nearby - 19:00 ish. Closely followed by an early (70's?) 911 and a Boxster. Shortly after that another early 911 (Red) approaching the same roundabout. Was there a meeting near there tonight?

Matt, you coming to the Woodvale rally near Southport this weekend. I'll be there on Sunday, somewhere near the PCGB area![:)]

Saw 3 944s today within the space of a mile - all Guards Red, all headed South on the M6 between junctions 19 and 18 at around 14:15 - waved, flashed and hooted at the last of them but they didn't see us.

Nick - we'll be there - are you displaying your car?

George, saw your car and very nice it looked too[:)] Unfortunately, the penny didn't drop that it might be yours until I got home and read your post....[8|][:D]

Great weather in the end and some nice cars.

I was there and spotted both of your cars, looking very nice.

I didn't spend that long on the stand so didn't get to introduce myself, but it was a decent day out. I ended up spending half of my time on a Land Rover stand as they persuaded us to put the Lightweight Land Rover we'd come down in on their display.
