Porsche Spotting

Had a Bus situation today, I've seen none for ages and the two 944s in one journey this afternoon!

Red H Reg S2 leaving the M4 at J5 I think and then a Red Cab heading West on the A45 at about 5ish

Edinburgh city centre, parked up, white 944s, private plate, cill covers and Porsche script running down the side. Anyone here?

Just spotted a Black 968 in HP's Bracknell Car Park!

Shame I still don't have mine otherwise I would have moved it alongside

Hi Jeremy didn't know you knocked about in the Bracknell environs. We'll have to keep an eye out for each other. I usually travel Marlow to Frimley once a week. I have a property in Frimley. Often in the 944 cab or the 996 cab but sometimes NID (nutter in disguise) in a rat ish looking AX gti.

Overtook a red 924 on the A17 heading east Friday night, and this evening passed a black 968 heading east as I was heading west on the A303 late afternoon/early evening. Wonder if said 968 caught up with the yellow early 911 on a trailer I had passed earlier on the same road?!

A nice looking guards red S2/Turbo on a private plate going in the opposite direction past Sigglesthorne Garden Centre coming out of Hornsea. Did wave. Didn't see me.

Heading up to Newark Autojumble on the A1, saw a very tidy looking 2.5 N/A in shiny red. Pulled alongside and gave a wave as I was in my Turbo.

Then saw the car at Newark Autojumble - parked only a few spaces away!

I caught up with the owner later this morning. His name is Mark, from Bedford. Naturally I told him about the trackday in May - he's not on the forums right now but said he may get on and come to the meet.

If my memory serves me right he's owned the car since 2004, it's been repainted and is very tidy indeed [8D]

And a pic of mine too....[:D]

I was there with the MK1 Golf Owners Club - hence the MK1 Golf next to me

It was nice chatting with you Mark [;)]

Regards
Andy

Saw a red B reg 944, automatic, parked in Covent Garden early this afternoon. Also a gorgeous 356 convertible in Regents Park. Most unusual of the nice cars I saw today was a brown Fiat Dino parked on Waterloo Bridge. I've never actually seen one apart from in photos before. Absolutely lovely!

Saw a nice white Series 1 parked up in the Tesco offices in Welwyn today

And I will look out for 924nutter when I go down to Brackers!

Saw a nice black 944 Turbo heading into Stamford today. The number plate ended in 'GYM'. I was in the Missus' MGF

Last week, Black 944 S2 with bridge spoiler on Leeds Ring-Road Seacroft, turned into Coal Road and a red 928 going across Wetherby Road roundabout heading north, both very nice.
I was on foot!

Smart looking burgundy coloured S2 parked in the middle of Alderley Edge at 9am this morning.
Belong to anyone on here? Would be good to make the acquaintance of another local enthusiast.

Spotted a red Cabrio with top down [8D] along the Billing Road in Northampton this morning. I waved and then remembered I was in an Audi - oops [:D]

that would have been me in the black S2, going to get some new black D90's fitted at Motorsport wheels. By coincidence I saw a red 928 in the Roundhay Road BP while filling up, was a T reg and looked that age but had an S4 spoiler, looked gorgeous but had smoke or steam pouring out under the bonnet, could have cried for him...

Red 968 heading south on teh A350 and about 9:40 this morning, somewhere between Warminster and Shaftesbury, waves exchanged...

Black 944 Turbo parked next to the M-Shed museum in Bristol yesterday night. Looked in good nick, numberplate 951 XXX! Anyone here?
