rear wiper delete

What about a front wiper delete thread ? ie: single front wiper arm ALA DTM touring cars, i believe it has been done.

When I bought my 968 race car it was mono wiper but the PCGB championship details clearly stated two wipers needed so I had to reinstall the other wiper, might have a pic of it somewhere. No bung was needed.

It is a shame I'm quite attached to my rear wiper, as I was thinking of all the things I could do with the permanent and switched live and earth wires on the rear hatch... first choice for the switched live would be a high level "brake" light especially for tailgaters... or a washer in the now redundant wiper hole so I can clean the windscreen of the following car so they can see how close they are... the only thing I can think of for the permanent live at the moment is a motorised nodding dog...

Long term test on the rear wiper delete programme:
1. Efficiency of the rear wiper before removal as per design spec: 100%
2. Usefulness of the rear wiper (RHD car) before removal: 0%
3. Usefulness of the rear wiper after removal: 0%
4. Change in function over the test period: 0%
...and the tailgate is easier to open and close being lighter and symmetrically balanced.
