rear wiper delete

I fitted my £10 Bruce Arnn special today. Does anyone know for certain where the wires connect to the main loom on a series two car? Ive done this a number of times on series one cars but this is the first late-type car that Ive de-wipered and Im hoping that it is a plug in spur.
 
The plug on my car was just in front of the battery, sort of where the fuel filler would be if it was on that side. Is that the connection you mean or do you think there is another one.
 
I've got an Arnnworx one, but I couldn't decide which car to put it on, so I sprayed both wiper arms satin black instead.

Is yours a lashed-up industrial fastner Jim? Mine has a metric measurement embossed on the outside.

Well, if we are trading photos then here is another shot of my 57p version. I contend that it's shinier than the Arnworx one, and doesn't have writing on it ....

I'll dig it out of the box in the garage and check.

Exactly so. You could dremmel 2/3 of the nut off and it would still be overkill :)
