....Or the con rod breaks whichever first. [;)]

Breaking engine parts is the perfect excuse needed to replace them with forged, balanced, lightened and knife edged components for an even better engine after the rebuild [8D]

OMG we are starting to sound like Rennlist []

Let me reassure you : in term of pedantry you're still a long way behind Rennlist.
This is probably where they will be the most difficult to "beat" [;)]

Damn good word Thom. I wish my French was half as good as your English.

I'm getting to be quite glad I didn't get a reading on Saturday as, now we may never know how BKE compares, once he's well again. Even if we admit to figures they'll mean diddly as they will be from a different RR on a differnt day.

Untill we all do it together again it will remain "Turbo Tony" & "Big Paul" on top of the pile.

Interesting arcicle in the June 2004 911 & Porsche Wold about Superchips.

The first thing that strikes me is that the figures were optimistic. Porsche quotes a maximum power figure of 250 BHP for the cvarrera 4, and I'd previously put the car on another dymo and obtained a figure of 258 BHP, ahich corresponds to the minor mods made to the inlet and exhaust systems. Superchips' rolling-road, on the other hand, gives a figure of 271 BHP with the standard chip. If only !

Just goes to show how dyno figures may vary ............

Superchips upgrades include

944 Turbo, up by 35 BHP for £511.13
944(&S2), up by 10 bhp for £293.75

Now go and look at the gains we got from the GURU / Promax / Blitz upgrades.

Which would you rather have, and what would you do with the money you'd save ?? LMAO

Thats shocking price. I think at most i have spent about £1200 on performance mods for mine. For that i have another 90bhp and 100lbft

I doubt superchips sell many of them.

Here's my chart for the site Rick. Enjoyed the pics! Any chance I could get a hi-res version of the Cotswold shot where my car is driving away from the camera?

Cheers
Dan

Dan, I'm uploading your plot this afternoon & amending the data table. Could you mail me with the missing details when the upload appears so I can complete the table. I don't know how you managed to get missed to begin with .... Are we missing any more cars / plots / figures ???
