RUF 944S For Sale

Who knows how many original parts are left? (Sparco sprints, cookie cutters etc..)
I don't see the attraction personally

And the letter heading for the Company which services my Land Rover also has Jaguar and Aston Martin logos on it, but that doesn't make Terry The Tangerine Truck a DB or X car.

The advert heading suggests it is a RUF car. As you read further it becomes apparent it is just a car which has had a lot of work done to it by a former RUF franchised garage. There seems to be no specific details of any parts manufactured or supplied by RUF in Germany.

Seemingly so. I'm obviously missing something.

Wodger has a post count as of today of 545 in less than 7 months [:-]

Is he just spamming to get his post count up or is he actually clogging up the forum with drivel and argumentative posts for the sake of it....

Our very own forum parasite. I rarely visit here since Roger appeared and started cocking his leg all over everything. Not sure why the admins don't just give us all a break and ban him?

aye, he's about as popular as a turd in a punch bowl at a party, he's ruining this forum, starts his own threads and populates them himself often with consecutive postings. There's clearly something wrong with him. People have been trying to politely educate him in forum etiquette and behaviour, telling him to go away, been sarcastic, rude, downright blunt. He is totally oblivious and relentless.
i believe he has been banned from other forums for similar behaviours.

I belong to a number of other car forums, none of whom would tolerate his behaviour
interestingly I've just read Paul McNulty's piece in Porsche Post where he says that JS will welcome ideas and suggestions for improvement of the Register.
I can only think of one.

To be fair I had hoped that Roger would make it to Rutland, that would have been a great time for us all to get together kick tyres and basically just get to know each other a little better.... I'm sure that Roger has something to offer the forum, I still hope that this is the case.

Regards

Pete

Possibly, but he doesn't help himself though does he?? The same posts submitted on different forums with an air of arrogance and self gratification at the same time.

There are some Members on this forum with vast Porsche knowledge and years of input on this site, yet he comes on and is happy to knock them down or contradict them at any opportunity.

Steady chaps. The world is full of all sorts or characters. Let's remember not to get personal and enjoy the entertainment in a civil way.

Just remember:- In a fight between a "Character" and a shark the "Character" will almost always win....unless it is in the water.

Wodger was banned from the 924 owners club forum, and had his club membership subs refunded, as a result of similar behaviour.

Saw this thread and laughed - oh how I laughed, thought someone was putting my car up for sale - but realised mine isn't Ruf :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Gentlemen, surely if the OP upsets everyone so badly then when a thread is started and you see the avatar - scroll on past, don't comment - simples, and then everyone can play nicely without saying anything [;)]

I agree Andy but he insists on getting involved in other people's posts with nothing relevant to say.

example is Paul Ruddy's restoration thread that Mike had to remove a number of post due to it going off topic due to his unwanted input.

i appreciate that a Forum is an open medium and it is difficult to sensor opinion but surely if he has been told to stay off a thread then he should oblige and do as requested?

Hey Martin, you must be tired ([:D]) you missed the funny side of my post - I thought it was funny anyway [:)]

My point was: not to answer then the thread cannot go off topic - can it? or am I missing something?
As you say the forum is an open medium, I don't see how anyone has the right to tell someone else to stay off a thread especially if continualy reply posts are being made, surely' thats an invitation to continue?

With only 19 posts made in 2016, and this being the 7th of 2017 I am no longer very active here and I was trying to help in what I see as a simple and logical way preventing you all getting upset, just ignore the problem it will go away...... feed and it will stay....got to be worth a try eh?

I was one of the first to say "don't feed the troll" but sadly Roger is capable of taking a thread off topic all on his own with no external input (and that includes most of his own!)

Unfortunately it just hasn't worked and now he's there like a leech, sucking the lifeblood out of the forum. I used to really enjoy this forum but since this prat turned up, I just don't.
