According to legend, you need to be pure of heart and errr... "'pure' of body"... to catch one of those. The same may be true of the Saratoga sunroof... which could be the problem with us lot getting one []

By the way, I sold my S2 getting on for 6 months ago and I'm still buying this (I hope) to ship to the new owner, as agreed

The whole deal is small change to a business the size of Pilkingtons, and I doubt they would care one way or the other whether they remained unsold. Those who want one would be best served waiting (im)patiently and keeping an eye open for unicorns...

As much as I still want one personally I can't help thinking this group buy is dead in the water, I don't know if Tom has heard anything but it appears he has not been on here for a while and I have sent two e mails to Nick and he has not replied to either, apparently they were supposed to be leaving the factory in the 1st week of August but there has been no confirmation of this. I cant believe it would take this long to get one of their bespoke windscreens (4 weeks shipping apparently) let alone 30+ sunroof's.

Apologies, I wanted to send a more detailed update last night but didn't get the chance.

anwyway, this is the response by email from Nick:

"I am constantly chasing the guys in the states, the situation is that the screens are done and awaiting shipping but it's taken them such a long time to organise the shipment its unreal, im rather embarrassed by it to be honest this should have been a simple stock sale from one Pilk site to another and due to multiple issues its become close to a debacle. Im waiting for the shipping guy over there to confirm the situation when he gets in today which will be our time late this afternoon. When he confirms a delivery date ill come back to Tom and he can communicate it out to you all on the forum, at that point ill issue all of the orders on our system and get them going."

i thanked him him for the update and stressed we are itching for them. In my opinion they are still on the cards so let's hope it won't be a "full year"

Several of those on the list no longer have 944s... merely "not having a sunroof aperture" can't be much of a deterrent! [8D]
