Saratoga Sunroof - Bulk-Buy

Tom, FYI I've copied your "final list" post in its entirety onto the thread on 968uk, as I know some buyers are from there but not on here.

You deserve a medal for your efforts in getting this bulk buy together - just wish I still had my 968 coupe so I could join in, but a sunroof on a cabriolet would be awkward!!

Thanks Chris, amazing how motivated one becomes when faced with the idea that somebody is looking to shaft you with a substandard overpriced product (old Saratoga Tops going on e-bay for £600+ and not a penny less). [:D]

Yes they can ..........

Just a quick update from Nick:

He has received all of the latest contact details from the latecomers and the roofs are being inspected today for any breakages. Once he gets the OK, invoices will be issued - expected to be tomorrow/early next week.

On the subject of flying unicorns...I believe Piper built an aeroplane called the Saratoga so by tenuous link...yes...yes unicorns can fly.

Too abstract?! [&:]

Have heard from Nick just checking whether I wanted to collect from a depot or get it delivered but no invoice as yet.

I have. Also just checking pick up location. I sent him an email earlier today checking on the status of the panels and if they made it through OK. There was a bit if a mix up over one of the names on the list too which I know he has to sort out. If your name was on the final confirmed list and you followed all the instructions you won't be missed off!

Just had an update from Nick. All of the panels have survived so everyone who wanted one is going to be able to get one.

All names have now been added to the Pilkington system and invoices should be going out today/tomorrow/early next week at the latest.

Anyone from down South planning to collect from Crawley depot?

Hi Jamie, according to the list there are a few deliveries being sent from the Crawley depot and at least one other Crawley collect. Probably not for me to name names though! I'll be picking mine up from the Rotherham depot though!

OK folks...it's on!

You should be receiving an e-mail from Nick explaining the process (if you don't have it yet, expect it soon or check your junk mail).

His colleague Karen is going to call everybody over the next few days to take payment so expect a phone call from her. Just to assure you that this is a legitimate phone call but if you are uncomfortable there will be details on the e-mail from Nick for alternative ways to pay too.

Thanks folks!

Already 1 report on 968uk of invoice received and payment sent (along with a reported sighting of a unicorn and pig flying by in formation, accompanied by the tooth fairy!! - only kidding!).

IS there a list of depots or is it just Redditch, rotherham and crawley? Nothing in the SW?

There is! Your best bet is probably Avonmouth depending on where you are in the SW.

Details were in the original instructions to place the order but to save you looking back over the thread to find it here is the link to all of Pilkington UK's different locations:
