SILVERSTONE CLASSIC 993 RS PHOTOS

Plan to be up , opening time Sat ........................with Grandchild ! and Cup Car hopefully ..........did mention when i sent XL size!

Steve, I was being a little flippant. I would have emailed yesterday if I could have found Barry's email address ... 'have Chris C's [;)]

Guys, The code has now run out!!! But good news I bought my ticket today and got infield parking ( you need PCGB) membership as well for entry on the day! Steve XL Shirt size please. The guy I booked the tickets with, said on Saturday, Jedward are playing in the evening, you are lucky! I however have a different interpretation of lucky so will be leaving before they appear, please form an orderly queue behind the Speed Yellow RS exiting onto the A43!!

Steve I thought you were organising the infield display, which was why you asked for the list of cars. As it sounds like the display is full does this mean there is no need for me to bring the RSR up? If the display is full then let me know as my insurance company are getting a bit funny about me leaving the RSR unattended overnight anyway.

Paul, Barry is in a motorhome at the display overnight so there is some security, there is no problems with the display of the RSR, when you buy the tickets you must give you registration number for the infield pass, this I presume will be your car that is towing the RSR, I will speak to Barry to ensure things run smoothly.

Ok thanks Steve. Makes more sense now. I'm not sure everyone you have asked to display a car uses this forum, and hence may not be aware they need to organise an infield pass to avoid logistical problems on the day.

All booked for Sunday, including infield pass. Any chance of two shirts? Don't mind paying for 2nd on the day. Size large - thanks. 993 RS Guards Red ps Porsche Code still works - but only if you are a child!

Look at the shadow --- it's a wide boy. Not a Cup. A 2002 996 GT3 RS2 --- ran in the ALMS endurance 2002 season finishing third and second in class at the Daytona Finale. Ran in the Monza 1000Km in 2004 with a Tech 9 engine which caused early retirement. Otherwise the car has been only a track day warrior and has no appreciable shell damage, and low hours. The challenge is to run it on a shoe string --- no £35k 35 hour engine rebiuilds here [&:] It's dedicated to track days with a passenger seat and harnesses, 103dB exhaust, slicks and rains, airjacks and a LandRover tow car in support [;)]

Hi, Tickets received, but no infield parking pass as requested and assured would be in the pack. Have spoken to the tickets dept and customer service and they are not sure if I will be granted an infield parking pass this late. The Customer Service Dept are now going to get in touch with PCGB to see if I warrant a pass. Any ideas or alternatives greatly received!! If not may just ask them to refund the ticket cost.

Hi Simon When are you coming up,i am sure we can get something sorted for you. Have you informed them you are part of the 15 year display etc I can always come out on my bike and get you a ticket from some one to borrow!

Hi Paul, Coming from Windsor, so only an hour away. If you are able to help I would really appreciate your help Paul. If you think this is a an option will not phone for refund tomorrow. I have been looking forward to this since it was promoted. Will PM my telephone number so we can hopefully confirm. Big Thanks Simon

Hi Simon I can not get the pm to work for me for some reason When are you planning to come along,i can then see who i can borrow a ticket from. I would have thought customer service would help if your car is part of a display for the punters to see.
