SNETTERTON 300

I had heard that some of the S2000s were struggling setup wise on Radials. They looked pretty pacey around Snett, we were there at the same meeting. I believe we (the cars not me) walked off with the out right lap record, no doubt soon to be broken by F3s when they pitch up later this year. ........Back on topic, I think that the 300 circuit is going to be great for 911s, esp Corum, which is a challenge in any car, but going to be fantastic in a rear engined car! I too am trying to make the date work, and find the finances.

ORIGINAL: The Red Baron 964RS [8D] This would interessed me and, Des and Martin have nearly decided me but...
Mark, great to meet you on here, it's been too long (like a week and a half !) It's a Monday ... but ?? [;)]

But... I've never been at Snetterton, I don't know how things are organised, when must I arrive, where exactly, at what time, where could I go to sleep (do you know a nice place hotel, B&B?) What is the best to cross the Channel? I've never do it with my car and also... Driving on the left side with Red Baron (I've never do it with or without RB) Is it the best way for a first experience. I imagine that it will be OK just the time to take my marks but... I'd like some advices and informations about this and surely not driving RB home in a coffin hum [:(]

what will be the difference to Clastres? will you push us off the circuit when we are in the UK? do we need to drive on the other side of the track? We'd have to tell them that not all trackdays are like Calestre though![:D][:D] [/quote]

Ok, planning is getting closer, down to whether we race at Sivlerstone on the weekend before now. If not, I'm in and have arranged my co-driver to split the wallet heamerage that is driving cars in circles this year. I should manage a mention in Autosport this week - if you cant get trophies (which I cant!) this is the next best thing.

Just done Snetterton 300 .......................Gotta be done great new circuit ............luvved it CU all 19th

Only twenty Porkers booked so far[&:] So it's now opened up to others[:(] C'mon guys!!

Mel That's really disappointing. I booked it on the basis that it would be a solely Porsche day and I'm not keen for it to become a free for all i.e. battling it out with others who perhaps don't take the same care and consideration, that our lot do. I'll probably speak to the organisers closer to day to get a better understanding of who is attending, decide if I still want to attend or get my money back. After all, it was sold to us as a second annual RS day and Porsche only. Damen

By all means do Damen but at this late date and little support what do you expect?

Well I'm going to be there regardless - my hotel is booked and paid for. BTW the worst driver at GoldTrack/Silverstone on Tuesday, who had to be warned, was driving a Porsche.

Funny you say that, I understand that one Porsche at a recent Oulton day was blackflagged twice and given three talking to's...... Drivers and clubs well known to Squeasytrack have been contacted and I have been assured that driving standards will be high and monitored as per usual

Sorry , with the revival on Friday and now booked to race at Silverstone at the weekend, I cant make this. Have fun guys.

Dan they are the other one........... think its AFEO ........................my lot accept them ..................and yes new track is greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaat

Cheers Vic. I emailed Easytrack and they said they are members of the FAEO. I've then asked them how I can contact the FAEO and haven't yet received a reply. I'll probably go on the 19th.
