So who is up for Rutland this year?!

Put me down as a possible please, not quite sure if that date is going to clear for me at the moment. Would be nice to see Rutland Water in above freezing temperatures for a change [;)]

What time is it from? How long are people staying?

No details yet I think
If it's sunny like last year, I'll be around for quite a while I think - didn't manage to speak to enough people / see enough cars last year, spent a long time talking to some chap with a red turbo IIRC [:D]

Last year's event made me want an early square dash + Fuchs..

Yes please I would like to attend. S2 cab Has all ways been too far away but moved closer recently.

im in - will bring my 944 engine and chassis super Beetle if that's okay
Hi Elliot,
Question is, is that a super beetle or a downgraded 944????

Hiya mate getting to wear that PCGB jacket again you proffered for me....

No firm plans for timing yet but I was thinking we convoy from Peterborough services (leave at 10am as previous years), arrive at Rutland about 10:45. Tea/coffee at the Harbour cafe. Those who want to can have a bite to eat at the cafe and stay a bit longer, leave in the afternoon. I suspect the appetite to stay will depend very much on the weather!
Great to see so much interest and looks like there will be a mix of old and new faces.

I would be interested however on a Stag do that weekend in North Wales... that said I'm only in Peterborough so could make a mad dash once I'm back on that Sunday - never been to this event what time does it start/finish?

Am hoping to make it with my 944 Lux 1983 model after seeing the run advertised in the 944 bit in the latest Porsche post.. Will confirm shortly.

**Update** - yes, will be there. Looking forward to it. It will be the 2nd drive out in a week as I have organised a Spring Drive for R9 PCGB the week before! Happy days..

Hope to make it,work has been getting in the way , need to sort that out, last run I made was the Brighton run a couple of years ago, Cheers

Things are looking promising my end for being able to attend this meet, assuming all goes well are there any plans for those in the London area to meet up to drive in convoy, having not been before I'm not familiar with past events? I'm guessing that the A1 is the best route?

cheers

Pete

I will be at South Mims Service Station on the M25 from 8.15am. We normally leave from there at around 8.30am to get up to Peterborough for around 9.30am.

I would love to come but will not know until day before if I can make it. I was booked for a tour but the guests have just cancelled due to ill health so may be able to make it. Details please. Steve.

Not long now! Looking forward to seeing you all there. Here is a detailed timeline for Sunday 24th April 2016. Feel free to join at any point during the day...

Leave South Mimms Services at 8:30am (arrive around 8:15am) https://www.google.co.uk/...157:0xb0aab2511795d620

Leave Peterborough Services at 10am (arrive around 9:30am) https://www.google.co.uk/...0a7:0x371bed2ea63cfceb

Arrive at Rutland Water (Whitwell Harbour) at 10:45am https://www.google.co.uk/...66b:0x6a1b29459bbec63e

We have dedicated parking on the waterfront (Labelled 1 on the map below). This is a pedestrian area so we've been requested to drive at crawl speed with hazard lights on. We will all have to pay the normal parking charge (take a ticket from the entry barrier and pay at the machines). There is space for 20-30 cars (if it looks like there will be more on the day we can change to use the second parking area, as we did last year).
