Something i have been working on!

As a sort of conclusion to this thread that has run on a bit...,all the future classics competitors were sent an email yesterday (as were all the other CSCC series) about how everyone has done in class and overall in the 2010 season and it turns out the overall FCs series winner was me, really not sure how it is all worked out something to do with class positions plus i did all the races and some didn't,but nevertheless a wins a win as they say so i am pretty happy right now!
I am pretty pleased for the car and 944 turbos in general, mine which started out very humbly as a 944 turbo S at the near end of a long life of road driving, then a bit of Promax tuning here, and remodeling by EMC there and it turned it into a great little roadlegal racecar that has had battles with loads of different types of racecars including quite a few 911s and dedicated acid dipped racecars with very experienced pilots..
So i will try and get some race pictures up then thats it for this thread, thanks for watching and goodnight[:D]!

Absolutely brilliant Mark - well done!

Is there not still the Donnington event on 31st though? I was just about to put a post up to see if anyone else is going to watch and could we get together and arrive in 944 style!

It's the Carrera Cup for you next then Mark? [:D]

Well done - what a great result. I'm planning to get across to Donington next weekend - hope to see you then

Ed

I wish[:D]!
Yup the Halloween race is still on its an extra date so apparently is "extra" to the series so the results for the year are all done now,so i can take it nice and easy now[:D]
(no chance i will drive as best as possible, fingers crossed the car holds out!)

Cool.

What time do we need to be there? Anyone want to meet up?

The day can be as long or short as you like quali will be in the morning, the first race will be afternoon and the last race,a NIGHT race will be when it gets dark!
(Never done that before,so fingers crossed it all goes safe, the grass around Donno is very wet and the car would dig in!......[&:]!)
Will be great to see anyone that fancies it hope i don't mess up in front of you!

OK - Mark can you be a bit more specific about times to be there for quali, afternoon race and night race?

I'm certainly going, although it would be helpful if you could put the meet off a week Mark - my car is in so many bits at present (not even a turbo on) it will be a bit of a rush to get it together in just a week! [&:] No? Ok then, 31st it is [:D]

As soon as i get my final instructions i can give you exact times, there will be racing all day though lots to watch, quali is usually early morning first race after lunch maybe 1 ish??And the night race is when it gets dark[:D]

Sorry but i am pretty proud of this, for the honour of the register and turbo owners amongst us......[:D]

Mark, as I said much earlier in this thread, I couldn't have hoped for a better second life for the old gal. But I'm equally chuffed for you, what an achievement! Well done.

Hey Mark

I missed the results post from before. Fantastic job and big congratulations. Inspirational first season. In fact I've decided to go 'real racing' next season too and partially I have you to blame. [:D]

Look forward to your next season, but don't think they won't be gunning for you then. Extra attention from the Scrutineers too I'm sure. Watch those Blighters!!

Well done.

Congratulations Mark!
I'm sorry I didn't manage to make it along to any of the races, but hopefully next year will be different.

Well done mate, you deserve it [:)]

Have you installed a nice cabinet in your den ready for next years silverware [:D]
