SPA + RING TRIP OCT 2012 URGENT

Hi Lindsay... I did have Harry's timer on, attempted to use it at Oulton but the maps (gps) for some reason would not hook up... I will be taking a couple of decent HD Video Cameras this year, GoPro HD & Contour HD for outside.

Yes I have my GoPro HD2. I also have seperate gps for the phone/ipad so I will try and get it to work. Also have direct lead into OBD, but I dont want to be messing around with setting up etc. I will review before I go and if it works good and well.

The lovely Monique..........my better half suggested last night she could come too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major body swerve had to take place LOL

I might have the full fat version of the car Lindsay but I'm definitely a half fat driver, probably even one of those 2% low fat milk types :)

Plus I'll have my dad as a passenger so his weight will slow me down :)

Now I've got my excuses out of the road, you should see about getting the wifi remote for the Go Pro. It's the best thing I've bought for mine, saves all the hassle of checking what mode it's on, wondering if it is actually recording etc. You get an LCD on the remote that makes it clear what mode your in and if the bloody thing's on or not. I'm going to have a go pro on my towing eye so I'll be able to switch it on and off from inside the car.

Cheers,
Martin

I'm going to try my hardest to stay between the armco :)

As for the towing eye it's one of these little bad boys. If I do end up in the kitty litter I'm hoping I can get towed out without the camera getting twatted?

What is the plan for the Scottish contingent, I am sure I might be able to keep up with the guys with the trailers, when and where are you meeting up?
Here's my suggestion which will be ignored by everyone, but includes a bit of "buffer" time for weather/breakdowns/traffic...

12.00pm - Greig/Gordon and any other west-coasters who want to go at our pace meet at Abington services
2.30ish - Stop at the Fox Hall Inn for a late lunch
4.00pm - Meeting point at Scotch Corner Services
6.00pm - Ferry check-in
