Spring Run to Champagne

Sounds good Ian... we can co-ordinate nearer the time, not a big Dover expert so if anyone knows of a suitable Curry house, 3 star Michelin Restaurant or whatever then lets do it... No peeking at the clues tho ;)

we could meet up, I will be leaving warwick about 6.00pm so I would be in Banbury about 7.00pm, is that good timing for you.[8D]

CORRECTION[8|] Just spooken to my mate (co-driver) he won't be at my house until 7.00p, so it will be 7.40pm before we hit banbury.

Is that to late shall we just see you there? We could meet at a motorway service station or something.

I have an MOT [:D], + fixed the overun problem and fitted new headlamps ( I can now see in the dark), just the new coil, oil filter and oil change to go, nearly ready[:)]

might be easier to meet you on route as your car is slightly quicker than mine....or even in Dover.

What route are you taking to dover, we could plan to meet at a motorway service station close to dover and then go on to find the lodge.

As I couldn't find the pub the other week it would be good for me to follow someone[;)]

Anyone else coming from north of London?

Anyone know of a supplier of short term european breakdown recovery for this trip? I will try the RAC who i am with, but just in case any other suggestions are welcome.

I found out about the 50% discount when I rang them today. Was very pleased.
ORIGINAL: Gav P

I'm using short trip RAC cover - they give a 50% discount on euro cover for members of car clubs.

i was quite lucky i managed to get break down cover including europe with my insurance.

see you all on the boat and the lodge....

still working hard to try and make it looks like i can only drive down to Dover to meet up on Sat Am for breakfast and then get on the ferry with you guys then I peel off to go shopping and then come back again. So if some one can't make it for the weekend and wants to come along with me for the day( if the other half does not want to come along.)
