Cool, looking forward to studying those maps[8|]

I hope the weather is a bit better next week, the midlands is currently covered in snow[:(]

All the bumph made the post this morning so you should all have the packs by Monday at the latest.

Don't expect the maps to show you where the clues/treasure is though... you'll have to wait for my word GO on the ferry before you can open the envelopes containing the clues and locations.

You didn't think we're going to make it that easy for you did you?!!

Disaster!! My 912 will not be able to make it [:(] (see wiper woes) so I will have to bring the Passat. I hope you lot will still speak to me and not make me stand in the corner because my engine is at the wrong end. I am bitterlet dissapointed that I can't bring the 912, but at least I now have more boot space[:)]

Back in good old Blighty now! I think I can say we all had a great time on the run to Reims. Seeing the old grandsatnd was cool. SOmeone will be posting pictures soon no doubt. All made it their and back again without calling on the services of the AA, although a bit of tinkering was required on some cars.

Big thanks to Gavin and Stuart for organising this. Shame you couldn't make it Gav. Next year eh? Some of us may even see this mythical car of yours that only seems to exist in stories[:)]

Back in Blightly...

My odometer says I drove 645 miles including London-Dover, so great form from all of you, many of whom had a much longer drive than me. (I'm not sure how many of those were spent going in circles at Dover on return?).

Looking forward to seeing those Reims circuit photos... maybe I can ask gavin to set up a folder on the gallery section of the forum? Any clues how to do this?...

A big big thanks to Gavin for all his terrific help with organising - we'll have another run in due course and we'll see that green car in action.
