Stop using vehicle recall on center locking 992s

I spoke with my OPC yesterday. They’ve had a couple of parts through but Porsche are allocating to the car not the OPC. No idea why that’s just how it is. So it wouldn’t matter to the rest of us unfortunately. We just need to wait our turn.

6 Months??? That's a ridiculous amount of time.

There is no way I would let any OPC have my Targa for that length of time. No doubt it will be sat outside over the winter, packed tight with other cars and could even get the odd knock. Not to mention the rain, snow, ice and debris from strong winds.
Hi Peter, yes, I've been informed mine is parked outside within their compound, I've asked them to deliver it back to me, they've confirmed to do it this Thursday.

I don’t seem to getting much feedback from Porsche on when my GTS will be collected to have the recall work done I have had numerous of Porsche car but I am starting to lose faith in the the company after all these years.

Had an email from my dealer earlier. The parts are in, and they’re sending someone to my house at the end of the month to fit them.

Just to update you all since my last post, my car is being collected tomorrow for replacement centre locks to be fitted. Apparently replacements are starting to arrive this week. No word on goodwill payments yet but my OPC did ask me whether I had cancelled any trips, incurred any additional costs, and whether the car was financed, when I took another car in for service last week.
