Des, great idea! There are so many modified Porsches out there - I hope to see many of them here. Will read 911 & PW this afternoon, there´s a red beauty (she´s a beast) from London on pages 56 - 63. Rgds, Hacki

Indeed Pete's car a work of art ... fabulous and meticulous build well documented in Porsche Post in recent months ...

It's a 1982 924 Lux automatic. When we got it is was in very bad shape and needed a complete respray and panel replacement. My Wife chose the colour-it's a one off pearl yellow, and she wanted to go for the 968 look, so bumper rubbers and side strips were removed and smoothed and door handle covers fitted. The front valance is a Turbo item and the radio aerial was also removed. The 15" wheels were made specially for the 924 by Team Dynamics-they are "Racelite" forged alloys, shod with Goodyear Excellence tyres. Spacers fitted at the rear to improve track/roadholding. Turbo rear body spats fitted. Interior is in brown, vinyl and logo fabric on Turbo/911 sports seats, piped in yellow. Inertia lap rear seatbelts. Boxster genuine Porsche stereo with ipod input. Four spoke Turbo steering wheel. Carpet dash cover (Imported from Australia.) Genuine Porsche floor mats. Remote central locking fitted. Mechanically, all standard apart from a K+N panel filter. Soon to have a front suspension rebuild with lowered front springs/Boge shocks. We have also obtained a 924S Le Mans BBS front spoiler and a Zender rear undertray (Both VERY Rare) which will be painted and fitted as we can afford it! These photos were used in a 924 feature in 911 + Porsche World magazine last year.

People modify their Porsches?!! Sacriledge! Surely PCGB should be petitioning for them all to be burnt at the stake??!!! [;)]

Bloomin’ typical. You set up a modified register just as I’ve decided to sell mine. (Any takers? Please?)

this should be an interesting forum to keep an eye on, well done to all involved. good luck Pete

Love the 924. I need to take some up to date pics, she's in varying degrees of roughness but mine is as follows:- 1986 944 turbo 968 block, crank and pistons 1986 944 turbo con rods 2.7l head and cam 944 S2 Transaxle D9 paddle clutch (pure evil and overkill) Microsquirt ECU, retaining the KLR for knock control. Cycling valve replaced with a proper solenoid, controlled by the Microsquirt. AFM replaced with MAP. Currently I have it at 10 psi of boost.
