Track Days

For anyone that wants to do this but has not booked with Javelin there are only 6 places now left for this track day. Edd
 
Hi guys, Held up the 944/968 flag on Monday at the Javelin track day against a host of Renaults, BMWs and Ricers. Nice GT3 RS and Cayman R in attendance though. Only transaxle there - felt lonely! Couldn't make May so had to go for April. Was a top notch day though - I think Bedford is such a great track. Bit of everything - long straights, fast corners, hairpins, etc etc. Car performed so well - instructor was raving about 944/968 as such an awesome platform for cheap track day fun and I for one agree with him. Am very envious of you all being together in May. Look forward to next year!!

The day is now full. We are only 5 off our original 41 so not too bad overall. I'm still hoping that 911&PW can attend the new date but this hasn't been confirmed yet. It also looks like there will be a couple of track instructors not attached to Javelin that will be offering their services if any want additional instruction. If some want to travel up the day before there are still rooms available at £40 twin/double at the Queens Head in Milton Ernest, a few of us will be gathering here on the 19th. Hi Edd...haven't re booked (moving house) but might manage to drop in as spectator/passenger. Do I need to book that with Bedford?
 
No just turn up. Spectating is free, £5 to passenger (any car). Bring a helmet if you have one and wear long sleeves, no shorts. Be good to have another come along. Edd

Hi Ken, Will be good to have you along, yes Steve from 911 & Porsche World confirmed Chris Horton is attending to cover the day for them, I beleive they have a big event themselves that day too. Not long to go now. Edd
 
Received an email from Colin at Javelin. Ed, We currently have 4 Instructors booked for the 20th May at Bedford as most of your guys have transferred and that was the number required to suit your needs previously. Are your group intending on taking up the instruction slots ?. If not I will just run with our usual two and cancel the others. It is only fair that we give them good notice . If your group wish to have instruction could I please request that they go to our website and book it before the 15th or we will have to assume they no longer require Instruction.
