I didn't think we'd get so many - maybe we should have arranged a group discount? Still, £129 is a pretty good price. Maybe I'll call Colin @ Javelin & see if there's anything he'd like to offer us as a bonus for 10+ bookings? [:D]

Yes, in retrospect that would have been a good idea, I thought we would have struggled for 5! Looking forward to this one though. Edd

I've just spoken to Colin - he said he's going to give us the 2 garages FOC (He thought he'd already committed to that TBH) Anyway, not much but better than nothing! [:D] I'm at Donington with Javelin on Dec 30th so if we get a few more booked on I might be able to talk him into a bit more...

My friend will definitely be joining us. I just haven't had time to add him to the list. Will do soon...

Nice one Edd, always worth a phone call Mind you I thought they were going to be free anyway as Ed has already paid [:D][:D]

Ok I've booked [:D] We will need another garage at this rate [;)] I am a bit of a numpty at posting from iPad so I can't paste the updated list of attendees at the moment

Great to see such a good turn out [:)]. I used to organise these events for another car forum, and would always struggle to get the numbers to negotiate a discount, but this is much more like it! If there are this many people active, I can certainly see us getting a discount from places like Castle Combe, who have cut me a deal in the past [;)]. I also have some contacts in other clubs who organise track days themselves that might prove useful if we can keep the interest levels up throughout the year. TBH, £129 is a bargain for a whole day at Bedford GT anyway! Phil

That's me too then. Cheers Andy for the nudge!

Thanks for updating the list Ed. And to Copperman, well done for suggesting this. The list of attendees on Javelin's site looks great - a bit intimidating for any "outsiders" perhaps [:D]

Had a few enquiries from people attending the track day, about the track tyres( so just to clarify) they are as follows. Michelin sport cup track 225 x 45 x 17 and 255 x 40 x 17 two of each in a set of course! I want to sell them as complete sets otherwise I will be left with odd tyres! They are for 968 fitment but I know lots of us 944 turbo pilots tend to run 17 inch wheels. Thanks, won't mention them again just had to clarify sizes.. The attendees list is looking impressive I might have to get my car checked over and tuned up!!
