ORIGINAL: Copperman05 This is getting better and better! Why didnt we have one of these before?[:)] Edd
We did.. [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-37wSMmMXvE]The last one...[/link] OK so I wasn't in a 944, but there were a few there, including Tony F, Mark Dalton, Peter Empson, McNulty etc.. Pit garage is a good idea, if only to stash stuff & shelter from the icy wind. Maybe just 1 would be fine? I don't know how big they are. I was also wondering whether it might be an interesting idea to hire an instructor for the day? I was chatting to a racer / instructor acquaintance of mine this morning. He would only charge £250-300'ish for the whole day, and I guess we could each have several sessions (depending on how many were interested) - Thoughts? Instruction is good for everyone, and will get new track drivers round much faster, safer and with less wear & tear on cars.

The Honda certainly looked like ALOT of fun,i adore FWD cars,i miss my pug,it made me feel young again[:D] One day i would like to race a hatch.

It was a great car - even better after I fitted a close ratio box and LSD, (and new driveshafts & suspension). No videos of that setup though It was just that when I sat it alongside the 944 I couldn't see many times when I'd choose to drive it.

Looks like pit garages are £20 each, so with eight of us, I guess we could push the boat out and go for two at a fiver a head! It would be good to have somewhere to stash stuff and have some shelter [;)]. Might be up for some instruction if the price was right, but mainly going to be a bit of a shake down for my car, before the season starts proper... Phil

Garage is a good idea, instructors are £20 for 20 mins or less if you book more time (£50 for an hour) which seems reasonable. 20-40 minutes should do me, like to get an idea of the correct lines. Bedford GT circuit is not a short track either. Edd

Note to self - must find that turney-key thing that stiffens the suspension...

Ooooh I've just seen they hire a 560 kilo SR2 for £299 a half day. Might have a quick word with my business partner and see if we can run to a 'team building exercise' in March [:D]

ORIGINAL: GPF We most certainly could Mate!
I'll be coming from Derby - maybe we could meet at Leicester Forest East? Graham - one suggestion for noise reduction [link]http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1576/MERLIN-MILD-STEEL-RACING-MUFFLER/product_info.html[/link] Worked well on my Honda - I think a 5dB reduction on the static test. I still have one but it's for a 2.5" tailpipe I think so no use for you I would have thought.
