For that sort of money, you'd at least expect the fan and shroud to be a lot cleaner.
imo the mileage is too high to command that sort of money or anything near that.
mind you, with Donald Trump possibly the next POTUS, nothing surprises me anymore.

The prices are quite buoyant at the moment with some dealers asking way over the odds in my opinion. The bottom line is, what are people prepared to pay for a good solid iconic vehicle which will never be repeated by Porsche.
I have been toying with the idea of selling my 1984 Carrera 3.2 simply because I dont use it enough to justify the annual outlay in road fund and insurance plus servicing which is done even though it covers not many miles. The car sits under its cover when it should be on the road. I have a pair of dehumidifiers in the car to keep the moister at bay.
For every day use I find the Boxster an easier option to drive given modern day traffic issues. But it sure as hell is not as enthralling even with the top down.

I believe prices have topped out, at best. I've just sold one of my cars - and took about £10k less than than I believe I'd have got for it 6 months ago. It was a low miles 89 3.2.

I spoke with a lot of respected dealers who have all said the same this. Market since Brexit is very soft. A lot of cars, too few buyers...

Are they smoking something up in Leeds? They have just listed a 3.2 Speedster at £225,000 alongside the 3.2 Carrera at £110,000.
