I have at least 4 happy 944 customers in this forum alone (kongsodoken, patch234, sweetcorne, bellaboots..there will be more) and that is just this forum, there are 968, 996 forums etc too..Any one of these guys will tell there was zero contempt before, during or after sale.
I changed my user name form shark to modernclassic as shark is not really a great name for a car dealer. My name is Mark, shark has been my nickname for decades. My brother was landshark and landsharkgt on PH forums, a reference to his 928gt..thats now gone, he is reddevil now, a reference to his red 996tt. Now you are in the loop.
I would appreciate not having to explain myself again. I have nothing to excuse myself for, I have happy customers and I keep my word. I have contributed more to 944's than many of any of you lot (how many have you saved and given a new lease of life) and it is me you all have to thank for the values of your cars today (especially Turbo cars) as it was ME who put the prices up last year from £5k to £15k over the course of 3 months when I had the only 3 cars available for sale at the time.

I never understand the problem people have with profit: it's the whole point of being in business, so long as it's not a scam. People might resent someone making a living from cars, but I bet most of us would love to be able to do so!

I'll chip in with another recommendation for Promax have used them for well over a decade now for both the 944's I have owned and have been excellent.

bellaboots said:Luckily i am used to all this slagging off that goes with most forums but i think most posts stay within decency you are always going to get views from a very small minority but any new member who comes on any of the Porsche forums must think is this really for me do they carry on like that at meetings answers please. So if this kind of bitchiness carries on perhaps Paul should start to censor posts .
It is getting to that point! []
If people have a personal grudge take it private? Please..... []

Don't laugh. Being able to triple the value of a particular marque of car is some achievement. We ought to arrange some kind of whip-'round for the guy to show our gratitude, doncha' think?

Don't forget his Pops and Bruv....
Just purchased a tuerkis blue 944 owned by a lady for the last 20 years , 88500 miles. Is it true there are only 8 RhD cars made in this colour.
Many thanks
Mark
