What do I get for membership?

ORIGINAL: Suffolk944

Could everyone in the Kindergarten please just STOP ?

Good idea!

This thread is seriously at risk of damaging the reputation of this forum. It has certainly changed mine. If anyone was to be a first time visitor to this forum and followed this thread I'm not convinced it would result in a new member or a new forum contributor. Clearly the initial question has been rather lost in the ensuing slanging match.

Opinions are clearly divided and will remain so. Futher debate is a waste of time.

...moderators?

Locked. []

I dunno, I go on holiday for a few days and you all lose the plot? OK, This is the PCGB 944 forum. I'm the 944 Register Secretary unless one of you wants to take over, please feel free to volunteer because I, along with many others, wouldn't mind someone else taking on the role so we could really speak our mind. [;)]

Although it's not my forum, I represent the PAYING members and as their representative , you WILL just have to listen and ACCEPT this.

Peanut and 944 man, you've chosen to deliberately wind the paying members up many times whilst enjoying this forum for free. Join the Club and contribute, or continue to be valued forum regulars, but you are out of order. Set up your own forum and let us all have a pop at you? Keep your posts to technical stuff, if you want to get involved in politics then you need to be a registered voter. I'd hate to lose either of you, but a bit of respect for your contribution requires a great deal of respect back. [8|]

Poprock, I've only glanced through this thread but some good points. We are at one extreme, Tipec is at the other. There's a middle ground we all might benefit from working towards?

Members, you are all right to be defensive, but I've said all along that this forum WILL stay open to non-members, and we need them. And, we really don't want them to get involved in Club matters, only 944 threads.

Non-members, you are welcome guests, it's been suggested that you don't upset the provider of your free dinner. Wherever you are in the world, feel free to join in. Accept that we like our Club the way it's moving forward, we accept our failures and want constructive criticism. Moaning about how "I didn't like the Lower Clopsworthy Concourse Event in 1972 so I'm never going to join the Club" will just get you Nil Points here and you are welcome to find another forum.

Above all, I have a phone number. I've given a large chunk of my life for the last 3 years to move 944 ownership forward first, Club membership second. If you think you can do it better, feel free as I'm happy to hand over. If you feel I can do better, tell me. Otherwise, please just ask questions about tyres, DME relays and sunroofs and have a bit of fun? [&:]

Let's resume normal service, chaps?

Oh, Oli? Just join mate, you'll love it! I need a successor....... [:D][:D][:D][:D]
