WUF for sale?

ORIGINAL: Indi9xx

Do it Rick, get rid of baby WUF and get WUF back, you need a 44 in your life. :)

Onwards and upwards !!

I was going to get a .44 but the .357 I have works perfectly adequately [:D] [:D] [:D]

It was good to have the two cars back together again on Saturday when Ben came down and we were going to do a proper photo-shoot but the insurance cover note hadn't arrived for baby so I wasn't able to tax her yet and then the light started to go ... I hope we'll get a proper chance before both are sold ... really strange seeing them together again but without and stripes ... confused the neighbours!!

Ben, that's a ridiculous starting price. [8|]

Go and change it to 10k ono and it will still be cheap. At £8.5k I had to stop myself PM'ing you that I'd buy it myself - just because it would be a bargain!

I like the tone of the response. I wholly agree it would fetch more but my heart has moved on and I want someone else to love it. The difference between 8.5 and 10k is 90% of buyers being motivated to put their hands in their pockets.

It will make someone very happy at this price but it's only advertised on this forum at that price so shouldn't hurt 944 values too much. Hopefully someone here will take it.

I'm away for a few days now (till next monday) but feel free to text me and we can arrange viewings on my return.

If ever I find myself in the need to sell mine I think I will take it apart, as there is no way someone is ever going to take advantage of all the effort I have put in it for such a miserable price.

I think I understand now why some people take apart perfectly fine examples.

Yeah I can understand that too...

Ben

I think you need to go racing - I don't think you will ever get enough of a kick from any road car after the first couple of months of ownership..

btw - if WUF is £8,500, put me down for £5k for that SC in a few months time [:D]

Mail sent Ben as there was no other way of contacting you. Pm me your number if you'd rather text/call.

cheers,

Mike

Ok guys this sickness is over. That SC is sold. It just hit the mark of exactly what I was craving at the wrong moment.. But now it's gone I'm going to take my time and think about this a little harder.

You're all right, it's not a fair price for the car anyway. If it goes I'll do it in the summer, when i'm not in a hurry and for the right price. Mike sorry I hadn't checked my emails.

Can we have this this thread deleted please mods? It's only going to upset me that I was considering it at that price.

P.s. I'd probably have got annoyed with perspex windows and no aircon anyway, you can't have that kind of purity of driving without serious sacrifice! wuf is a MUCH better every day car in the end.

DivinE if you really really want to appreciate the qualities of your 944 I high recommend you purchase a series 2/3 landrover, preferably with the underpowered petrol engine, and drive that for a few hours before you drive your 944. Your car will feel special again I promise.
