JM,
Nice car, I have a soft spot for them and thought they were a modern equivalent of the 944.
How do you find it, how does it compare with the 44??

Well compared to my turbo its a lot sharper, the throttle response is instant although it can be difficult to drive smoothly in traffic. Handling wise you would have to get it on a track to find its limits so its difficult for me to compare. My turbo has KW V3 suspension which is a few years old now and the Z4 just feels a lot tighter, same goes for the steering but then again the Z4 is a 25 year newer design. One thing that is definitely better in my opinion is the glorious noise the Z4 makes even when you are only accelerating gently it sounds great. Turbo rides better and is more practical though. In short I love both cars and it would be a wrench to let either go.
I bought the Z4 as something that's not going to depreciate too much while I wait for a good 997 Gen II to get below £30K. Or alternatively a 981 Cayman S or GTS might be in my range in a couple of years.
