Your other cars

I've posted these up before, but at the moment, the 'other' car is a 2004 Honda S2000....

Oh.......almost forgot, I also have a 'joint' Alfa 145 QV track project........currently work in progress -

And this is what made way for my 944. A 1992 Mazda Eunos 1.6 S-Special, loved that car, and still a car that I miss dearly in terms of fun factor -

Possible that one of my other cars will be another 944 in the not too distant future, but unfortunately I won't be able to keep both, so my red S will have to make way :(

E46 BMW 318SE Touring for dogs, fishing gear and car bits, 2 x Porsche garage queens 944 Turbo S and a 997 Carrera 2S, recently sold a 7 Series 728i Sport (E38) ilove them and will have another !
Er indoors has a shed of a Vauxhall Zafira, very practical !

Loving that MX-5 Hallsy [8D]. A mate of mine has the 1.8 version (an "M" reg), laps the "Ring" in something like 8 minutes in it!!

Currently an A6 Avant 3.0tdi quattro s-line manual, which as it approaches 200k has developed some compliance in the suspension.

I have had it since 50k IN 2008, Other than a wet amplifier from a leaky rear screen wash (annoying - and still not fixed yet - well the amp is repaired but there are still issues) It had nothing other than brakes, blades and bulbs (oh and 1 wheel bearing after I hit a curb hard). Then just after I decided to aim for 200K before selling it (around 192K) the front pulley on the crank failed. £350 quid later it was back on the road.

Had it MOTed last week and the MOT man was very impressed with how solid and leak free it is.

It does get driven hard and is on long life servicing with a specialist (around £200 @20k and £400 at 40k - brakes etc extra).
It owes me nothing and I will miss it when it goes probably to be replaced by a VW Amarok as I have to go up forestry and farm tracks for several jobs over the next few years.

Collected the Leaf this afternoon.

Surprisingly quick off the line with 250nM of torque from the get go :)

My 944 is my daily driver.

For weekends away and holidays I have:-

The 348 is simply awesome. Everyone should try a maranello product. One of the few things that live up to the hype.

Daily drive is a Peugeot 107. Pound for pound one of the best cars I've ever had! A complete hoot to drive.

Well I have a Toyota IQ for the commute to work....but after having it nearly 4 years Im getting bored...not bored of the cost but bored of the drive.

Ive recently ( April this year) added a V70 T5 7 seater to the stable....224k miles but soo comfy and a bit of a guided missile......feels like it has the legs on the S2 from 125ish...

Then I have a Kawasaki Versys 650 that I used to commute on and now just use everynow and again...its on 20k miles...but Im doing about 1500 a year at the moment.

The final toy is a CBR400NC29 that should hopefully be getting MOTed today..Ive owned this since 2008 and its been apart a few times...most recently I fitted new fork seal and carb inlets.

Fancy a 90s superbike to add to bike collection as I miss the punch of a quick bike after I sold the ZX10R last year...

Wildblue, a friend of mine Mike Moore who is a club member and owns a 944 Turbo is selling a Ducati 888 Superbike 1993 vintage, black very quick and very noisy in very good order !

Thanks always fancied one of those but I expect that will be a bit out of my price bracket....would love one....but Im looking at spending around £1500, old blades and ZX7Rs that type of thing...maybe an old ZZR1100 as they can be picked up for peanuts..

Finally found a moment to organise a photobucket account. So here is a shot of my 4 Maserati's, and then one of my Shamal winning the Maserati Club Centenary Concourse about a month back.

It is indeed hard to find a good Ghibli. Though I know of a couple of normal, early Ghiblis currently available if you're interested. Finding a Cup version (like mine) is much harder as they don't come up. But I have a list of the other 20 cars and their owners so can ask. But price wise, a decent Cup will cost a minimum of £30k these days.
