these will only go up in value along with the turbo cabs,, drive it ,keep her in a warm garage,,cherish her and watch her value increase with every year,,don't put too many miles on her though,,
the expensive s2 with working air con?" hens teeth",,so rare for an s2,,mine has it albeit not working but the pipework looks mint,,
jon at tower Porsche seemed to think it wouldn't cost lots to get back working but who knows? I never followed it up,,jjasonp

No - it 's got a/c - although a different setup to turbos - you can only see 1 line running down the rhs of the engine bay
Very nice car - with great options for an s2 and the ad suggests the mileage is genuine. Not far from me either
Ed, you're right - I hadn't looked closely at the under bonnet pic(and would probably have missed it if I had) []
Does indeed look like a very nice example in one of the best colour combos IMHO
Do report back if you go and look at it.

That looks really nice. What's going on with the cassette lid thingy, never seen one before, is it original?
I've never seen it. AFAIK you only had the usual armrest, or the 968-style tray. There's an aftermarket version with a can-holder as well.
I love the light interior, my 100% black is so oppressive.
Assuming the bodywork is solid, and the usual work on major part is done, it's a steal at £15K. My worry is the lack of detail in the ad, though.
This could need a clutch, fuel lines, it's boring but the low-miles cars aren't immune to age-related faults. If it has had loads of work, list it in the ad!

one thing that may be worth checking out for any interested party... the under bonnet picture... what's going on with the passengers side top mount... looks like worn blistered paint through to metal and rust,,, can't say I've ever seen that before. think I'd give it a good check for any rust below that section and also look for any signs of damage.
Pete
Could it be air conditioning fluid/gas spillage on the top mount as that's where it is filled from?

hmmm// could be but that's pretty poor if it is and very unusual, I certainly haven't see it that bad before... top mounts are usually in good order on these cars.

Maybe it's just a reflection or a camera issue?
Would be good to see better pics
