No major progress last week as I was away, didn't get much done on the weekend either. Although I think I have figured out how I can do MAF, MAP, TPS and wasted spark ignition without changing the wiring harness at all, including keeping the factory knock protection (improving on it as well). Maybe boost control too.

Can you supply me (for a fair price of course) with an AOS delete kit and an adjustable cam gear for my Lux Olli? It is spitting lots of oil into its intake and I would like to have a play with changing the cam advance on it with my new DME system.
Sure, not a problem. AOS parts can be sent right away, gears are ready, but my friend who fabricates them left yesterday for Las Vegas, SEMA show and will be back after two weeks. I will send you mail where we can sort details out.
Nice to know you have had progress with DME system.
I think this week I will contact an electronics manufacturer in my area and have a proper PCB prototype built up. This one will be for the LUX but there are only some small changes to be made for it to work with the turbo, maybe I can make the board generic to both the lux and the turbo, we will see. I might also see if they can revitalise the old analogue board with new caps etc. No point in having a shiny new board only to have the old one fail huh!
Hmm, have got several e-mail concerning the gears.Have also responded to all of them, Can you re-send your inquiry to me.
Tom, nice to know proto is on the way
btw, have a AOS nipples waiting for you. I have also transmission cooler adapters if you would like to change oem system to something else.Let me know if you need these parts.

The circuit diagram is being layed out at the start of next week. Quite excited now, we have designed the PCB to work with lux, turbo, 911 and hopefully S2 and 968 will work too. We've put a decent sized microprocessor on it with a load of I/O so we can support lots of additional features. Will support USB and Bluetooth Comms .
Had a chat with the guy who runs the T5 suite project today, seems like a top guy and was interested in helping me out with this project! Cool!

I want to include it as an option, well the output will be a generic 5V driver so really it could be used for pretty much anything that can use that signal. But I thought I would do water injection using the washer reservoir for extra safety! TTM's comment supports that! Can inject water based on EGT.
I've got near finalised circuit diagrams back from my electronics man. Following features are supported:
Interface with completely standard car but only the 944 lux and turbo models for now as the S2/S/968 have a different ECU.
Will support all original engine sensors.
Option to include additional sensors MAP/MAF/TPS/EGT/AFR
Road speed sensor input from later gearboxes.
Closed loop boost control using boost solenoid.
Two ignition outputs for wasted spark systems.
Can read external knock sensing input on turbo, so factory knock protection can be included with wasted spark and other configurations not using the factory turbo ignition configuration.
Water injection driver
High speed 16mhz processor
1MB on Board EPROM (may change to SD card slot)
USB/Bluetooth/Radio Interfaces can be used for data logging and re-mapping
On the turbo cars a system with MAF/MAP/TPS and manual boost control can be installed with no changes to the wiring loom. The MAP and 0-5V TPS signal can be acquired from the KLR. The MAF sensor can be supported and supplied with 12V using existing wiring so no external power source is necessary. There is the possibility to utilise factory narrowband AFR sensor wiring to install a boost solenoid with no additional wiring necessary (not sure yet).

Great work...
How does this compare to the original ECU?
