Paul Smith - My 944S is now out for tomorrow because it's STILL in the bodyshop being put back together ...

Rick, I will be going via Heathrow about 10.30am as I am picking up a guy from Rennlist. (It's the Australian guy who got lost last week!)
I'm not actually going on the rollers this year but was just coming along to have a look for an hour or two. (To kick all your tyres and see what I can nick!)

That's the worst excuse of the lot [] You could have at least had a gasket go or need an engine rebuild like the others.

You must stop selling your cars [] or at least bring the wifes 307 again

Careful - if Andrew brings his wife's 307 and I bring my 306 and with the rate of attrition of 944's it would be in danger of becoming a Peugeot day.

It would be good to see the "911" from above on the rollers. More torque than power I expect.

I waas thinking of bringing the Daimler Sv8R as a substitute for the 944S, but can only drive one !
4 litre Supercharged V8 quad cam 32 valve should have been fun []

Thanks to Paul for organising the day and to the people at Weltmeister. Good to finally put faces to names. Fantastic to see such a great turn out of 944's - seemed making the 400 mile round trip worth it - managed to get home in just a shade under 2 hrs !!! yes officer I was sticking to the speed limits[8D]

My car produced a quite frankly dissapointing 200 BHP ( well crap infairness ) , refused to start on the ramps and has got covered in Tar but that has not diminshed my desire for the car - just to buy a Turbo and start the modification program []

Hope everybody who attended enjoyed themselves as much as I did - Burger was ok as well and SUN - wow what a treat !!

Well I guess by now it's official. I own the poorest perfoming car of the day, probably the whole forum (except those that are in pieces) [][][]
