[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Following on from the success of last year I am organising another day at the Curborough Sprint Course in Staffordshire. The track offers a variety of layouts and is as accommodating for those who just want to spectate as for those testing their skills on the track. You don't have to book the track time to enjoy this day because just like all our other meets, the day is all about meeting other 964 owners with the added bonus of seeing some cars in action.

The cost should again be £45 (subject to numbers) for those who want to take their car on track, with passenger rides being free. Spectating and meeting others is of course also free. With a driver briefing at 11 am and the circuit open from 11:30 am until 4:30 pm there's plenty of scope for an entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable day and time for people to travel to and from the circuit on the same day. Helmets are not required although they are optional and, perhaps, recommended. There is a tea and coffee cabin on site that is normally open if we can promise good numbers (but bring some butties just in case).

Curborough is situated 20 miles North of Birmingham off the A38 trunk road between Burton on Trent and Lichfield in Staffordshire. The venue is Brown Signed once you are off the A38, and also the A515 from the West. Their web site is available at http://www.curborough.co.uk.

The event is designed to run with 15 cars but we can accomodate up to 20 cars if there is a high demand for places.

To see how it went last year have a look at the Previous thread.

Please register you interest or ask any questions you might have about the day on this thread. I will start taking bookings in the next couple of weeks so start consulting your diaries [:)]

Please put me on the list Steve. I couldn't make it last year. Would love to get involved this year.

There is a test but the only car not let on last year was an RSR rep that was EXTREMELY loud. They're pretty leanient on the limite because of there only being one on track at a time and because we're such a well behave bunch [;)]

would love to come and spectate and a good run out as well [:)]

All spectators welcome Ray.....it's as much a social day as it is a trackday. Also, expect to give me a hand with the flag waving....you'll know what I mean when you get there [:)]

Please put me down for it too.

(did anyone else spot that this was the start of the childrens half-term week)

Thanks, Lee

Bugge Bugger Bugger. Just been told I'm going to be elsewhere, so can't make it.

Sorry Steve, will have to make it another time for me, as I'll be in Florida.
