The other 1% will be driving a BMW! andrew_churcher - try Mannings for insurance - ATDO-organised track days, UK and Europe, included on the policy.ORIGINAL: asjasj Don't worry too much about holding people up on track. 99% of trackdayers are courteous and will understand there are new drivers on track.

Don't think we'll get there until about 6 pm. We'll probably meet in the bar from 6.30. I'll then introduce you the rest of the gang that will bringing between them everything from a 997 GT3 to a Vauxhall. []ORIGINAL: andrew_churcher no worries mate. How bought we meet say 5pm at the bar.

1. In theory it's full but you could try e-mailing jonny dot leroux at bookatrack dot com and asking if you can get on with a Porsche (as it was originally intended to be a Porsche day he will probably let an extra Porsche or two on seeing as it's only a low number day). Alternatively, I believe Andrew Churcher is uncertain if he will be able to drive on the day - if this is the case, there is a way he could transfer his place - you should both e-mail me if you want to do this and I'll tell you how. [] 2. The original discount rate was £250 but £295 now applies if you can get on. 3. All Porsches welcomeORIGINAL: jason Steve - rather than go through all 8 pages can you tell me: 1. Is there any spaces left? 2. How much is it? 3. Is it all 964 or can Orange come and play? J[8D]

Of course you will survive Max! See my post above to Jason about the 24th being full but how it might be possible to still get on.ORIGINAL: Max Twist Hi Steve If I survive my first track day at Donnington next week I will book this one, so I hope the car numbers are making it viable. Regards Max Twist 997 C2S
Or join me at Donny on the 9th......[]ORIGINAL: jason Steve - rather than go through all 8 pages can you tell me: 1. Is there any spaces left? 2. How much is it? 3. Is it all 964 or can Orange come and play? J[8D]

Boxsey - checked today with the helmet and i fit. Had to incline the seat back but it does the job. Pretty happy about that.

Good news on fitting in Andrew......... Today I have taken a look at my suspension. It has always looked lower at the rear than the front and feels pretty unstable at higher speeds - sagging rear srpings carrying the weight of the engine? I can't justify replacing it as I mainly use the car for 'touring' and have other toys more suited to track work. This is a special treat for it! Anyway, found the front is wound fully down and the rear about 5mm from the bottom of the threads. Decided to raise the rear as logic is telling me a possibly nose up attitude is bad at speed - can't lower the front which would be a better bet! Have lifted the back up a little and, by eye, the car looks more level. Car has not had the geometry set either since I've owned it. Will try to get that looked at this week in time for Donington.... Everyone else ready?

Hi Boxsey - if you dont mind can I grab your mobile number please. Shall see you up at the hotel around 6pm ish for a beer. Mix of anxiety/excitement/intrepidation....but cant want for the weekend to be honest. Took my car for a drive on Sat after a 2 week hiatus to stretch its legs and get some charge in the battery. Man....its like therapy!!! haha. PS: Are these GT3 blokes going to get the 'ump if a Guards Red 964 driving track day novice holds them up for a corner or 2?? [][] PSS: is their a photographer there at all on the day or do you need to take your own? Am keen to get some good pics of the car in action on the day.

Hi Andrew, I've e-mailed you my mobile number. Look forward to meeting up on Saturday evening. Yes, BaT have their own photographer there. You can usually buy the photos at the track or on-line later. Those of us that booked early for the original date and then stayed booked for the new date, will be getting a CD of their photos for free. p.s. you'll soon get the hang of getting out of the way of the faster drivers.

You should all have had your e-mail reminder about Sunday from BaT by now. This asks you click on the web link to confirm you will still be going. For those not used to BaT, the next thing to do is log into your account, click on the trackday and print off your indemnity form that you'll need when signing in on Sunday morning.

Those timings are spot on Ade. I'm sure you'll get the e-mail soon - maybe check your spam box in case it's gone there?

Regarding the e-mail it's not imperative that you click the link to confirm your place. Your place will still be safe. I think they use the number of replies as guide to let reserves know whether it's worth turning up on the day.ORIGINAL: asjasj Thanks Steve I've had earlier emails Ok from them. Nothing in spam. Have emailed them just, if I don't get a reply I'll give them a call later tomorrow.

Hi Boxsey - any advice on the day if it rains? I noticed it also says you need "covered arms and legs"....going to be pretty hot with a long sleeved shirt on or jacket. How heavily is that policed? Was hoping to be able to wear a short sleeved shirt. cheers,
It's for your own good -just imagine a windscreen or window breaking.....ORIGINAL: andrew_churcher Was hoping to be able to wear a short sleeved shirt. cheers,
