964s for sale

There look to be quite a few differences to me....number plate, engine fan, decals, door pulls, etc....unless he was a quick makeover artist? [:D]

LOL....I only had a side pic which came through on my phone....it looked similar from that one pic [:D][:D] Well at least I think they were both white with black decals![:D] Although I could be wrong [] Autotrader one looked a nice car!

Seems a bit ambitious, can't believe the market has moved this much, £32K for a very nice C2. http://www.jzmporsche.com/porsche-for-sale/911/964-c2-for-sale-468

ORIGINAL: RLambert £32k is just getting silly......!
well maybe but my PPI garage recommended that i insure mine for £30K. But it has just 58k miles and is in rather good shape but not mint. another dealer in wiltshire has a very low mileage car up for sale at £40k [link]http://www.thehairpincompany.co.uk/car-Porsche-964_Carrera_2-1990.html[/link] this has 100k miles less than the JZM car but is 'only' £8k more.

The hairpin car is a 'Call for details' advert - i guess this enables them to try a big number and if it works, great, if not, reduce it without too much blushing. The JZM car showed the price clearly when i first looked.

I was referring to the £40K for the Hairpin car.

Good to see things picking up in the 964 world. Unmolested and original well cared for examples are becoming rarer and thus demand increases. Whether something is worth it or not is more or less down to how much someone is willing to pay. All good for 964 ownership in any case, may the prices continue to rise [;)]

How about this then? Weren't these RS replica's going for mid 20's a couple of years ago, mind you this is a very, very low mileage. http://www.jzmporsche.com/porsche-for-sale/911/964-c2-for-sale-477

The mileage refers to the miles since it was turned into a rep, not the overall mileage it's done. It was for sale for ages by the previous owner who had the work done, for late thirties. It sold for something like that figure about a month ago. The new owner has now decided to put it up for sale again because it doesn't fit with what he wants for a weekend car (so I am told).

Love the colour and it does look well. Each to there own, but cars trying to impersonate (or owners for that matter) somethink they aren't, well I can't undersatnd it. I'd sooner pay 40k for a mint original c2 than 40k for a c2 thinking its an RS [&:]

Personally, if I had that sort of money to spend, I'd probably be more tempted by this: http://www.jzmporsche.com/porsche-for-sale/911/mk1-996-gt3-for-sale-467

A black one that was built did sell in 2012 for £25k ish.........market has moved on a bit though for 964 C2 manual coupes (not many about)........ its probably a good buy at £35k...........bit high at that price. I personally love it. I have heards from someone who viewed that 996 GT3 Mk 1 that it may not be the cleanest around and probably not worth the asking but again .......rare as hens teeth

This has got to worth looking at for anyone in the market. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/911-964/porsche-964-carrera-2-manual-stunning-condition/2060538
