Anyone waiting for a GTS Allocation ?

That is good service!
Ordered mine back in July 21 and expecting delivery end June 22... Still at stage 3 of 5 in the MyPorsche app..

Around what time frame did yours move to Stage 3? I'm still at Stage 2 of 5 with delivery expected end of July/beginning of Aug.

Does anyone on here have the agave green leather interior with contrasting stitching. I currently have grey leather with yellow stitching , belts and dials which I really like but want a change. Any photos would be appreciated.

Changed to stage 3 early last week and was sat at 2 for about a month.
OPC states no delays but I'll believe that when the car arrives.

Thank you. I've been sat at Stage 2 since mid Feb, so basically two months now. Guess it'll move to Stage 3 in the next month or so. Hopefully no delays for any of us.

The MyPorsche app status seems broken, as i have now been driving my car for 3 weeks and i now have the actual car in MyPorsche Garage as well as the same car being almost ready for delivery (Stage 5)!
Your best bet is to only work with your OPC system, they will usually screenshot the status for you and Google can translate the event codes for you :)

I'd have to agree with that as everyone I've spoken to has had a different experience with the app status. Many have had the car delivered while it's saying still in production.

Although my OPC is no better as they were told I'd been sent pictures in error.

I was very lucky, and perfectly looked after by Porsche Bristol. Having also had awful experiences in at least 3 other OPCs over the years.
It helped that I had (have) a 992 Turbo on order since early 2021, but on allocation (around Nov 2021) I had a choice of C4GTS or Turbo. The C4GTS was delivered earlier this month (April). My guess is that the wait time from Porsche Leicester is very good turnaround.

Here are some more pics of mine... (hopefully they paste ok this time and the aspect ratio is ok!)

Wow congratulations!
that’s amazing service to get a new Gts 992 so quickly- I ordered in Aug 2021 and still not had allocation yet!
enjoy!
It probably helps that this is my 3rd 992 (C2Cab, C2S, C4GTS) as well as a 991.2 Turbo and a (long) while ago a 997.1 ! :)
Then factor in the Cayman R, numerous Boxtser(s) and I have well and truly (erm) invested? lol

Absolutely stunning, wow!

There's always a lot of talk about allocations and delivery times. Some cars seem to come through quite quickly and others take longer. I ordered mine last July for a November delivery which was subsequently put back to January. It finally arrived at Porsche Leicester on 18 March with me collecting it a few days later. A shortage of parts must have contributed to the lengthy production time and I guess the bigger the spec the more chance there is of a parts problem. Anyway, I can tell you it was worth the wait. The car is a joy!

Forgive me if this is old news but the UK porsche configurator is closed saying its due to extended delays in manufacture and refer to OPC.

Just a quick update on my order for a 992 Turbo. According to my OPC, I have moved from number 3 on the waiting list to number 1 - this means I will have the next 992 Turbo allocation. Was hoping to get delivery for September 2022, but thus is now unlikely but almost certainly within this year (2022). To remind you all, it was ordered on 19 June 2021. Here's hoping !!

Sounds about right g6. I ordered my Turbo S Jan 21. I got the allocation in Nov 21 and will pick it up next week.

Regards,

Tom

Put a deposit down for a Turbo S in March 2021, still waiting for an allocation. Dealer originally told me about 12 months from order to delivery but that has obviously been pushed back but at this rate I am going to be lucky to even get it this year!

How are people getting on with their Carrera S orders? I put down a deposit in August 2021. Have been number 2 on the list for a long time and OPC was recently confident that I would get an allocation this month for build in September. However have now been told build date likely in early 2023. Are other 992 versions getting priority? It seems to be mostly GTS versions that are being flipped on Autotrader.
