Anyone waiting for a GTS Allocation ?

Significantly larger margins on the GTS, I don't think there is much else to it. With the 992.2 round the corner they will want to maximise profit on this model. It's a pretty expensive car now but I think all performance car manufacturers are benefitting customer 'stress' that this will be the last non-hybridised/electrified version of their favourite cars.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news to anyone who is waiting on a delivery but I've just been contacted by my OPC to say there is a severe delay on 718, 911 and Taycans.
My cars in the middle of this in the build process so I will try and provide an update (if I can get one) on what the delay looks like when I go to visit my dealer on Friday.
I would expect this to have a knock-on effect for those awaiting allocation and build slots.
Seems like a common theme at the moment so hardly unexpected, but by all means contact your OPC to see how this effects you. They may or may not know about it already.

Just great isn't it :(

My car's in the middle of the build process as well and it's supposed to be completed by 1st July and then ready for shipping. Hearing similar things on PistonHeads and Rennlist yesterday about delays and I was praying we wouldn't be impacted. I emailed my dealer yesterday about it and he said to me it's too early to say anything about my car as the next milestone for mine is the paint-shop on Friday and that he would keep me posted. At that point I realised something's not right, because if there was no delay he would have told me outright that there's nothing to worry about.

This has really upset me :( , as I was hoping to have the car in the first week of Aug, so I could enjoy it in the summer a bit. Potentially scuppered my plans for a trip to Germany in it also. :(

Quite excited - visited my dealer and got my dates today. It all suddenly seemed very real seeing the schedule on his screen. My date is in November. It's interesting my Sister in Law ordered a Volvo at the same time as we put the deposit on our GTS and she's still waiting with no information.

My Targa GTS in GT Silver should be completed during July with a forecast August delivery date, which is many months earlier than I was originally informed when I placed the order.

However, I think I will take the car when it arrives, but doubt that it will be a long termer for me this time.

Finally a year since ordering some good news!
Just waiting confirmation of delivery times now and keeping my fingers crossed nothing holds things up.

That's great news Bluetonic, looks stunning that does ??

That does look nice (but they all do imo). So around 25 days from car on gantry photo to dealer collection? That’s a good data point. Thank. Still hoping for mine October ish….

That’s interesting- I’d selected the OEM PPF front option. Would you mind sharing why you went the third party route?

Sure, Dick Lovett Porsche / Ferrari Swindon have a partnership with Topaz and offer a nice bundled price.
As many of their cars go through Topaz Bristol the team are very familiar with the cars and application and it's not too far a drive if I need any future work done.
At a recent meet at the dealers I was chatting to someone who'd had the same done and the work looked excellent.

I suspect you’ve looked at it several times already since posting and zoomed it to have a good look around. I recognise the other frustrations you posted previously but surely you’re smiling for ear to ear seeing those photos? Thanks for sharing, it’s lovely. I have asked for the aerokit on mine too, my wife asked why - I said I just wanted one. She put up some serious serious resistance because she thought I was after the one fitted to the GT3!
