I've recently bought a 987 Spyder from Solihull OPC so I guess they do exist but quite rare now. TBH mine is the first one I've seen for a while. Apparently the 987s won't be long in the OPC network as they need to be less than 15 years old after the 2 year Porsche Warranty expires. Love the car though.. sold my 964 Targa for this one.
Congrats looks a stunning and very late example Roll on spring 2023 [8D]
Congratulations enjoy your Boxster Spyder .

Could not agree more roll on spring.

No indication that plugs or air filters have been changed? Hopefully it’s had some new tyres too or the originals will be well past there best by now.

£61000 “NO SALE”. The market has spoken

Having owned that model and colour combo they are well hard to sell, very small market for the classic interior, but I must say they look better in real life that pics. Mine was a lemon buy ie stuck at my OPC and I offered to buy it to secure my 991.2 GT3 as well as other under hand crap.

While we will get some people who love that interior it's not a seller 2nd hand and why buy from an Auction !

Hi Simon, hope you are enjoying your new spyder.

you won’t regret that purchase, as most will tell you on here!!

enjoy in good health

We are delighted to welcome this 981 Boxster Spyder to the JZM Showroom. As expected, this Spyder presents in excellent condition throughout , fully commensurate with the low mileage of just 6817 miles. This Spyder benefits from a high factory specification, particular highlights include Boxster Classic Interior, 18-Way Sport Adaptive Seats, Heated Seats, DAB, BOSE Surround Sound System, and much more… A particularly clean & tidy example and one JZM are delighted to stock.

Porsche's nearly oven ready 718 RS Spyder spotted recently

Side window looks like its from the 987 Spyder!

The upcoming 2023 Porsche 718 (specs | pics) The Boxster Spyder RS has been tested again, this time with near-production specs. After the overwhelming response to the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, the German automaker has decided to produce an RS version of the 718 Boxster Spyder. While this isn't the first time our photographers have photographed prototypes during testing, this tester's soft-top design is a little different.

Most notably, this prototype's roof can now extend further back through the car's boot lid and connect to a pair of small air intakes not found on the standard 718 Boxster Spyder.

There are few other visual differences between this 718 Boxster Spyder RS prototype and the existing 718 Boxster Spyder, but Porsche will likely equip it with some new aerodynamic parts not seen on this car. A new set of center-locking wheels adorn this prototype.

Performance specs have yet to be announced. It's a safe bet, however, that the car will borrow its powertrain from the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, which means it should come with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter opposed-six making 493 hp and 331 lb-ft (448 Nm). ) torque. torque. This engine is exclusively coupled to the 7-speed PDK gearbox in the GT4 RS, as should the Boxster Spyder RS. The car should be able to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in about 3.2 seconds, while continuing to reach a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h).
