So what do we think the chances are of picking up one of these RS Spyder models from your local OPC? B-) What ”criteria” would you need to meet?

I think lesser mortals won't get them. A few months ago I asked my OPC if I would have a chance on the basis that I would trade my 2021 Spyder with 3k miles on the clock and take the very poor px they would then offer me and was told absolutely no chance.

Thanks. As usual with these specific models they never go to enthusiasts who would keep and cherish the vehicle rather than those who flip and make money. Money talks I suppose.

You can have my slot for £50K :ROFLMAO: Not that I am likely to buy another Porsche certainly not new but in all honesty would not pay the overs some are asking for ,so many cars for sale 3/4/owners and some have a few thousand miles ...

Finally after 7 plus years a Spyder below original list price

To be fair I managed to buy one of the very first Gt4s, kept it for 4 years and then bought a 718 version (which I’ve still got) even though they’d initially said ‘no chance’; all without ever having been near a new Porsche prior to the 981.

I did get in very early and nodded politely whenever I received bad news! Patience and politeness (not always my best assets) paid off but I’ve seen/heard OPCs in action and sympathise with anyone less fortunate than me...

And there looks to be some kind of securing bracket on the roll hoops. Curious.
Has the 987 Spyder style tent made a comeback along with the side glass and securing brackets on roll hoop
