Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

At least some of us are exploiting the pulling power of Spyder's looks. Yes, this IS Brian. Well actually, all I know is that he sent me the picture. But then, I see his SKINZ number plate, so it is authenticated[:D] "Spyderman Brian spins his web and captures the girls"[:D] What's the story to go with this one Brian, and please share the secrets of your success[8D]

This is the "before" shot prior to Brian and six rather nubile young ladies see how many can fit in a Spyder with the roof up [:D]

My sentiments exactly but as Brian is minus a wind deflector and they may have the shades on[8D] but it does look chilly still I will let him off (this time)

Would you need a heater if you had 6 girls Billy1?[;)]

Today we are back down to just one Spyder at an OPC [;)]. Looks like extinction isn't far away now Spydermen

I think when the OPC stocks get low, they go all out to source another. They shift relatively quickly now than say, models that are plentiful at every dealership. Can this remaining car beat them to it[;)]

ORIGINAL: kitchens Looking forward to having the roof down when i get the deflector fitted .
I'd almost forgotten about using a wind deflector. One of the clips on the roll hoop that holds the wind deflector in place had a problem. It's like the spring is weak and so the wind deflector starts to dislodge when you're driving, so i've had to leave the wind deflector out until it's resolved. I reported the problem in September, yes, September and still can't get the part. Month after month Porsche gives the OPC a different ETA for the part. It's a standard Boxster part, so I thought it'd be readily available. But i'm told there is a recall on a batch of cars, hence the part is in short supply. The last I was told is that there should be a batch of 500 units released in April, but we're in April now. As the weather picks up, it's becoming more of an inconvenience.

I'm surprised that's the car that's left, apart from the fat boy [:D] seats, it's a good spec - white with silver Spyder wheels is obviously the best look as I'm sure Rob will agree [:D][:D] (apologies for the radio silence gents, am off on Easter holiday family duties, that and pondering the imminent demise of criminal legal aid as we know it...) Brian, I do like the matching cardie / car colour combination, certainly a bird puller!

It's not a cardie !! there for old folk [;)] it's a huddie and yes colour coordinated drew a line at wearing the matching red shoes [:D][:D]

Is there any other better look for a White Spyder it was the chosen colour combo for the original catalogue :ROFLMAO:

But the launch car was white and black [;)]

I guess most of us have a SECOND colour preference. Mine is red. Daro, I know yours is blue. RobK, what's your second colour preference?
