ORIGINAL: Fire_2 That's what mine comes in at, measured at brandshatch. But your right around the track it makes up for the lack of outright power!
Mine has sports seats, seat heaters, climate control, & PCM[&o] I daren't weigh it as I think the psychological effects on performance will be most powerful. I'm already hankering after buckets but more for how they feel but also the weight comes into mind even if it won't feel any quicker. MrD what do you mean by Recaro poles?
the Porsche Buckets look the bollocks :), but they don't save much in real life, 12kg's the recaro pole Carbon seats not only look and feel great, and sell well 2nd hand also (so no risk buying and being stuck with them), but only weight 5kg's lol awesome seats and look good in any car

What sort of money new What sort of money used Do they come with full leather too Just sat in OPC East London's carbon bucket Spyder and have to confess yes they look great, feel great to sit in, can enter and exit with suncap on with no issues but having a full leather interior currently I would sorely miss the full leather on the chairs[&o]

yes you can buy full leather ones in carbon or fibreglass depending on cost. 2nd hand on ebay go for silly money and sell straight away, was after a set for my TTRS but never won a bid. you can also buy fake leather ones, or real leather . http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/brand/recaro-seats/recaro-sportline-bucket-seats/recaro-seats-pole-position-carbon-with-abe-bucket-seat/prod_930.html so you can buy fake leather and fibreglass, or go real leather and full carbon, or any mix and match depending how deep your pockets are lol

you can code the air bag light out or fit a mod in the socket, to stop the dash lights. yummy though in full leather and carbon, but that combo is £££££ fake leather and non carbon are only £600 each ;-p and still only 7.5 kg a seat !

also this seat as fitted to JCW mini, RS focus, Lotus etc can be had with seat heating also ;-) another great seat.

Pleasant surpise from the first quote received [:)] The Recaro Pole position seats in full leather with the fitting frames required would be: £2500.00 delivered This would also include the side mounts required for Pole Position seats and all the bolt packs needed. I would recommend the Recaro resistor kits as well for £60.00 for both seats which would need to be wired in and the codes re-set

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/997GT3SEATS.html?Category_Code=RS40intseats not as bad as this price :) GT3 Seats (997) in Carbon Fiber Code: 997GT3SEATS MSRP: $19,859.00 Price:$17,900.00

Second quote [;)] But I am a bit concerned about these seats need new side mounted runners as I wouldn't want fresh holes drilled into the floor pan to fit them[&o] The cost to fit the seats & re-set the airbag ECU will be £350.00 GBP Plus the cost of 2 seats £1075.00GBP Plus side runners £116.66GBP Plus sliders £116.66GBP

Great picture and as a one time daily driver of a couple of Lotus Elan SE Turbo's I am sure you were treated with the respect deserved [:D] A local fishmonger owner near me had 2 Exiges before buying his current car a Spyder and these cars were his daily driver in all weathers! I am yet to meet and ask his views on life with Porsche after so many years with Lotus not to mention FHC to Suncap motoring [:)]

On a Side note, the tyres were amazing and the PCCB are just stunning vs the steels. The tyres are a little harsh on public roads though and have less give, but on the track they did not melt at all like the oem rubbish. And on the drive home now they are worn in the tyres were again outstanding for grip on my fav B roads. you would be able to scare any one if you took them out :) even though -1 camber might not be enough, it's loads better and the car is a lot better than me atm :) My local roundabouts test my balls and they win, before the car pushed and gave in, now I bottle out and the cars still honing round. So as I only do about 4 track days a year I will NOT be buying GT3 /RSS LCA to get any more until my driving standards are far higher. Race Maxx were a big spend to do 4 track days and I would say to others just get Pilot super sports if you use the car more than me on the road, as now I have the R the Spyder only see's very sunny days. On the road you will never unstick the Race Maxx imo, which some people might not like if they want to move the car about. but for me I like grip and don't like drifting.
