Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Is black an acceptable hue for John? Wheels look quite good, what do they weigh?!!!
Rob this car doesn't have bum warmers it has racing carbon buckets to compliment the racing ceramic stoppers[&o] John's hunt must continue and will the prices continue to head North[8D]

That car does look good in that PTS grey. Is this one silver, under unusual lighting, or a PTS colour? http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5215/5492054086_34da13dd8d_b.jpg

My No.1 PTS for a Spyder would have been riviera blue https://www.google.co.uk/search?um=1&hl=en&client=safari&tbo=d&biw=768&bih=900&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=boxster+spyder+rivierra+blue&btnG=Search#

The bum warmers! How could I forget? That metallic grey one looks ok too. White still best obviously, chaps. [;)]

I'd have it as a wrap that I could take off after a year or two[:)]

ORIGINAL: flat6 So, now there's a grand total of 2 OPC cars to choose from, which do you prefer and why?[:)]
Silverstone car is much higher spec lower mileage but also a good bit dearer. If the price can be trimmed closer to the Silver car then it would be my first choice And you would choose ?????? [&o]

Heads or tails? Wrong wheels or wrong seats? Both the wrong colour!!! Prefer mine thanks. Yours and Rob's are ok too. Nice to see prices heading in the right direction though. Ker-Ching [:D]

Flat6 got his wrong wheels switched to the correct ones so the dealer is use to that request [:D] Wrong colour(s) much harder to wrap up :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Prices heading north I am all or more of that [;)]

Mrs K has just had a look and prefers your car. Looks better apparently! Launch colour always a plus, Speed Yellow 981 Cayman anyone?

Rob Speed is no more [:D] Try "RACING" Yellow ... Excellent choice as I really do like that colour on a 981

Which one would I choose? As Rob K previously said, Black perhaps doesn't show off the lines of the car as well as the lighter colours Although, Silver doesn't accentuate the silver surrounds on the front and side air intakes. Not much in it on colour but i'd go for black. Wheels. As long as there is a Cayman or Boxster or Cayman R in the showroom with Spyder wheels i'd get them swapped and take the Black car. The rest of the spec is fairly similar between the cars in terms of my 'wants'. The lower mileage is another plus, which I guess they will point to over the other car with regards to price. But £37K is a fair price for either car so I reckon there's room for manoeuvre on the black car's price. PC Silverstone have sold more Spyders than I can remember. I'd get a sports shifter fitted on it as well[:)]
