Thought it might be. Bet you felt a right tool taking those photos but I'm sure the wider forum and Spyderboys world wide are glad you took one for the team!!

Doors Open, I'm Off - if you know what I mean![ORIGINAL: jdpef356 I know what you mean when you describe hoping from one model to another. This I love to-do. [] I can start at either end and drive 1964, 1985, 1997 and 2004 and it really is a delight to feel the different models as they move through the decades. The sun shinning today and I might just do that!

Flat6 You asked so nicely here is another and I am now off too join John in spirit and give my Spyder a nice 40 miles blast whilst we are still salt and snow free on our roads down Souf [8D]ORIGINAL: flat6daro911. I like these pics of old and new. Got any more?[ORIGINAL: daro911![]()

John, that is absolutely lovely.
In the past a post or pre Christmas dinner blast has been doable and whilst it hasn't been the luck of the draw in recent years I live in hope [ORIGINAL: flat6 John and daro911, you are lucky. We're freeeezing up here![&o] I reckon that's your last 'dry' run for the year daro[]
About 45 grand? [ORIGINAL: flat6 What would make you go for a 981 over a 991 and vice versa?
Thanks VITESSE. I'd love to do a review on the beautiful new Cayman but i'm guessing only the Porsche Post team review the new cars? Although, I may have already forfeited that chance by telling Porsche that they should have sprung a surprise with the brilliant new Cayman[&o]. I'd like to drive it to find out what subtle strengths they've enriched it with[ORIGINAL: VITESSE Excellent writing-we need you to do articles in Porsche Post-just the sort of angles members & owners are looking for.
The dilemma between a 981 would be the 997TT gen 2 pdk now starting around £70k which seems good value . I do really like a soft top though and certainly wouldn't go the 991 cab route currently as I don't think it's worth the premium over the 981 . We will see what's out there in the spring when I have more idea of how many pennies will be left after the Poole build finishes . If a nice black spyder came back on the market I would still be VERY tempted!! And maybe get a 997 pdk for the weekly commute ?

Sounds perfect, if a tad greedy [
] A pal of mine has said since the day I got it that my Spyder would be ideal... if I had a 911 as well! Flat6, don't let Vitesse flatter you, he'll have you spinning around Oulton before you can blink...
Thanks Rob - She is part of the family. Had a lovely run down the A14 yesterday and then off through some country roads and villages. Kids waving (anyone think I was driving around in Noddy's car) that should draw some comments. [ORIGINAL: rob.kellock John, that is absolutely lovely.
