Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Flat6, have they still got the silver GT3 and has that gone up too? That was worth swapping a Spyder for! If the Spyders are going up a grand every couple of weeks I won't have long to wait! About to board the Virgin Pendolino to London, I suspect nothing with a Porsche badge on it could get me there from Preston as quickly and especially not a Noddy car!
Good find again flat6 [] Very good short and to the point review Impressive how the roof went up in 39 seconds! Almost tempted me to try fitting mine for the first time since Feb 2011 [&o]ORIGINAL: flat6 This concise report pretty much tells it like it is. http://www.carguydad.com/quick-drive-2011-porsche-boxster-spyder/
That was a good find. Train took 2 hours 10 minutes with no damaged Pork! Now coffeed up and stumbling around Docklands looking for a large tower block. Plenty to choose from that's for sure. No flat caps, whippets, terraced houses or cobbled streets, all very confusing!
You won't like to see my wet and dirty pics daro911[], but the roof is keeping out the wet AND the cold, such is the powerful heating[]. The roof is staying permanently on now and the car is being driven less you'll be glad to hear[]. A Cayman R would be perfect now. I'd run it in the snow with winter tyres but I wouldn't want the rear window of the Spyder getting buried under snow in the office car park[] so i'm not planning to get winter tyres. I'll be working from home if it snows. The author gets it right as to the timing of the Spyder & Cayman R and I half agree with your previous comment that Porsche should make them regular 3rd models. Not unreasonable as it's business as usual for the 911 to have niche models like the GT3 / GT3RS (although they are inherent by their link to the racing version). I guess i'm torn between wanting to see a 981 Spyder and wanting ours to become a sought after modern classic in less than 20 years But i'd like to see a Cayman R sooner rather than later, especially if there's some bespoke bodywork on the next one []ORIGINAL: daro911Good find again flat6 [] Very good short and to the point review Impressive how the roof went up in 39 seconds! [][] Can I have your roof as a spare as you don't need it [][]ORIGINAL: daro911 flat6 That is the most shocking sight I have ever seen ... A filthed up Spyder [][][] Even Porsche made it clear to future owners if it looks like wet weather get yourself a bridge and whatever happens keep the roof in the boot[]
When your not washing your cars your spending to much time looking and playing with your trains or Noddy![][] Now why dont you buy one of these?[8|] http://www.gmpperformance.com/index.cfm?PG=detail&PID=228442 If you all got one of these you could get as Filthy as you liked every every night of week![][][]
Hi John, I had considered that, but at that price, i'd rather run a second car! (Which is what I might do if our winter turns out to be a harsh one)ORIGINAL: jdpef356 When your not washing your cars your spending to much time looking and playing with your trains or Noddy![][] Now why dont you buy one of these?[8|] http://www.gmpperformance.com/index.cfm?PG=detail&PID=228442 If you all got one of these you could get as Filthy as you liked every every night of week![][][]
flat6 Now you are making some sense and as the winter is likely to be as bad if not worse than last years start your hunt sooner rather than later [&:] I hate to stand back and see a classic future classic abused in it's youthORIGINAL: flat6 Hi John, I had considered that, but at that price, i'd rather run a second car! Might be pushing the budget a tad for a daily workhorse? []
Nah, Carrera 4 surely? Sorry, 4S [] John, that roof is hideous and stops you using the rear "trunk". Colin - Dean slums it in Longton, I'm out in the wilds of Whitestake now!
Mmm... Would love to... And keep the 525! Sad as it may sound, it is almost certainly the best car I have ever owned. 40000 reliable miles so far.
OK How many 981 Spyders could Porsche sell if they used this fashion of folding roof instead of the controversial Suncap 1667 987 Spyders instead of the target figure of 4000 Release a 981 Spyder in this fashion early in the cars life and I think proposed targets could even be surpassed Simples []
