Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Reverting back to a an old question, I spoke with the guys at Porsche Byfleet, and the silver one without the Spyder wheels which has now been sold was in fact the press car, as you had thought. Sorry it took so long to get the answer!

ORIGINAL: H14PDB I have a question for you Spyder owners. What is wrong with car at Shirley's Garage. I know wheels are not right and some people will discard it because it is PDK but ..... Not many about apart from this one .....
An Aqua blue PDK example with the Spyder wheels but black side stripe instead of silver sold in the early summer for £2k more than the seller had paid 911V 5 months and 500 miles earlier! Many would have said that colour, side stripe and gearbox were wrong but it sold and PDQ As Rob said all a matter of personal taste and as far as the wheels go a friend of mine who was pondering a Spyder liked that car because of the wheels[&o]

Actually whisper it, but I prefer PDK, have it on my Cayman. Like the black wheels but not so sure about those Turbo ones, would prefer Spyder design. Hope it doesn't have cup holders though as that would really put me off

ORIGINAL: H14PDB Oh, to make me more awkward, really like the Aqua blue but agree side stripe is wrong colour
As Mr D says silver stripe and alloys works best with Aqua but bottom line is the car went in a flash for top $ too

+1 from me for the silvers!

ORIGINAL: graham m There are a number of lines on the Ferraris trip display, max mph being one of them (worryingly!), but for some reason no mpg! Graham
Yikes - that could be a bit awkward to explain if you were ever unfortunate enough to get stopped by the rozzers! Ways good to see you, glad you enjoyed it.

Regular 'reset' required!! Graham

ORIGINAL: rob.kellock I prefer silver stripes on the blue cars too. Cecil, the mirror shots were a bit blurry unfortunately.

As Rob say its all a question of taste! Shirley's have had this car a while now and I would suspect the wheels could well be holding it back! If everything else suits your taste ask them to put the correct wheels on it or make a cash adjustment! Someone on here will be able to tell you the cost of wheels.
They are about 4K with tyres and surprisingly more expensive without tyres [&:]

Cecil's car not mine! I didn't have a co-pilot - which is obviously the only reason Andy, Graham and Cecil were so much quicker than me [:D]
