Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Owing to the phenomenal success of this post do I take it that all uk Boxster spyders are now in the hands of pcgb members? D [;)]

I already saw this and was sorely tempted. Looks like a nice conversion with the hubs etc I wonder what the OEM parts came off. I thought all the 9XX 6 pots where for the PCCB [&:] Might be cheaper to figure out what the parts came from?

just a bogo 911 997 I would guess. I am sure I could get the parts cheaper as I get very good opc discount.

John No, we'll hopefully be a 2 porsche car home in the spring when the Macan arrives, I can't quite justify a third Porsche. I can see the attraction of the Spyder mind. [;)] D

ORIGINAL: flat6 The cars that have taken long to sell I don't think it is because of asking price. It is probably more down to mileage and condition (or really whacky spec, and by that I mean such as every piece of interior trim painted white against a red leather interior, which won't be to everyone's taste. I have not seen a whacky spec car very often. As you say, colour and spec debate is pointless, the car has sold in all sorts of trim combinations and yours in fine).
Just stumbled across the whacky spec I was referring to. OK, not whacky, but it's the only Spyder i've seen that I thought it may take longer than average to find someone with matching taste.

[:)] Not quite, but we have a few. There are a couple of recent additions since this list but I can no longer keep up! Shout if you want adding [:)]. I've listed another Kman - hopefully more Kmen will feel welcome over here if they don't look completely outnumbered[;)]

David Each to their own. We need a 4x4 type vehicle but not a tank (sorry to Cayenne owners!) and it was never going to be an Evoque, then we heard about the Macan. D

Can you remember which road it was? I was after we had done EVO triangle and went off into the unknown, somewhere on the opposite side of the A5 to EVO IIRC

The B4407. Before turning left on to the B4391 and then left again onto the A4212 around a lake called Llyn Celyn heading towards Bala. Would be nice today - crisp, dry and sunny!

Thanks. It look liked it would go on for ever. But after completing the triangle, my short range fuel tank was making it a bit risky to keep going. I think we turned back where we took those photos.

ORIGINAL: MrDemon Was my car OPC swapped the seats from 2 Spyders over as I wanted the buckets. They took some buttons out, and added the sports mode button and software also.

MrD (now please keep your hair on, this isn't an interrogation [:)] , just popped into my head as the video came back up when deleting a load of email) How come your car needed its seats swapping from sports seats to buckets if it originally had buckets when on the press fleet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEKI7VknmTs
