Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

There seems to be about 17 of us on here. There are more on Pistonheads too. Thing is - most people bought one precisely so that they don't ever have to park next to one the same!!

ORIGINAL: Rocket Man I have not got the car yet, it should be mid Jan before i get up there and it is not quite the weather for it as yet. The Atom club have just done their calender for 2014 with some nice location shots. It always looks good on the office wall.
RM if you are waiting for the weather to pick up in Scotland it could be mid July before you get the car [:D][:D]

The 550 Spyders The first 500's appeared in 1953. These were the first true competition-bred Porsches; lightweight, two seat, aluminum bodied, tubular framed, open-topped cars. The initial pair of 550's was unique unto themselves, racing only with Volkwagen-derived pushrod boxer four cylinder engines, fitted with detachable roofs. These dominated their class at Le Mans finishing one-two in the 1500cc division. Later, one of them won its category in the famed Pan Americana Mexican road race.

Any Spydermen fed up with the 20-40 mph cut off on their PSE if so I have this unit for sale with original box and only used for 4k miles [:D] and will be on ebay after holidays if no takers Can highly recommend and takes minutes to install or remove £80.00 PSE Manual Control for P97 & P87 & P97GT3 in Electronics The PSE on the P97, P87 and GT3's needs to be activated every time you start the car by pushing the "Sport" and/or "PSE" button. And even if you have decided to set the PSE in the loud setting, the DME will always switch the PSE to silent between 45 and 75km/h. On most cars, it's also not possible to have the PSE on when the Sport setting is switched off. We now offer a plug and play solution that allows you to control the PSE manually, with memory function and all this via remote control. The 2 channel remote has a "loud" and "silent" button so you can be 100% sure of the setting, even before you start the engine. While you drive, you can switch between loud or silent at any time. If you switch off the ignition, the last setting will be stored so next time you start the car, the PSE will still be in the same position so it's not necessary to push any of the buttons first, in order to get the PSE in the setting that you prefer. Be sure to watch the video! http://www.carnewal.com/products/P97/p97084/PSE-Manual-Control

ORIGINAL: MrDemon handy unit I guess I just pulled the wire out though :) less weight :p
Gives the driver the choice of running 99% of the time in "on" mode and on any rare occasion when silence is required just use the remote [:D]Saves a good 10 minutes of faffing around to plug the wire back in :ROFLMAO: I bought it so I could keep the valves from seizing in the open position which may or may not be an old wives tales but it's nice to get in the car and PSE is automatically "on" if that's where you leave it and no 20-40mph override which is how all the new PSE now come from the factory

If that's delivered I'll take it, happy to ping over Internet rather than PayPal or such like. Lack of those charges should cover postage I reckon. Let me know, don't trust PM on here hence the post. Think my email is in my profile. Cheers Graham
