ORIGINAL: jdpef356 Another new one to the market - nice spec that just needs a good clean http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201401130990595/sort/default/usedcars/postcode/cb45bx/transmission/manual/model/boxster/onesearchad/used%2cnearlynew%2cnew/make/porsche/maximum-age/up_to_3_years_old/radius/1501/price-from/25000/page/1/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/saved-search-id/2c9218223a06d026013a15d09dac001d/keywords/spyder?logcode=pp&atcide=emc-cars-SSA008
All our cars get dirty from time to time well some of our's do [:D][:D] .....but if someone can't take the time to prepare a car for sale it makes you wonder how it has been looked after [:'(]

One thing you can say for this owner is that he keeps his car clean[:)] I think there was a site showing the orange bits are vinyl wrapped, so at least he can change his mine when he gets this multi-colour mayhem look out of his system[:D] The white car with red wheels and decals was also quite garish.

ORIGINAL: MrDemon yes we all know the best cars are manual, and PDK is for gayers , what's your point :)
What is the "Race Car" Avatar MrD?? Have you bought something? Or is it to pronounce the Spyder as the Comp car?
got my new MSA through, And my PCGB membership through, luck has it both my tyres types are listed now in the 2014 tyre regs , now just need to decide what I am going to do it may well be Nottingham Sports Car Club sprint series. but I am about to buy a few extra bits for the car, RRS arms, engine mount, sub bar, harness, battery and a new helmet.
been looking at harness's for the track also, I understand you can get away with out using a sub bar for a 4 point Schroth Profi II-FE ASM? also have you thought about upgrading the rear anti roll bar?

The 59 plate OPC Bristol PDK Spyder up at just under £42k is no longer advertised on the locator anyone got a good contact to see if it actually sold or was it an SOR deal[&o] Haven't seen an early 2010 car at that price level in years!

It's a bit cold to be selling Spyders at top price don't you think[8D] And there's a new OPC 'R' on the market for Chris[;)]

Rear ARB , I might go stiffer, but need some warm weather to test the car over 100% grip levels on dry tarmac 1st, so would be last on the list of items to do for me.

I don't think this is looked at like a normal sports car, because of its relative rarity people will buy all year round. By the way, and you may already be aware of this, the guys in USA were talking about which was the best indoor cover to fit the Spyder. The view was that the standard 987 Boxster cover was to tight on the back of the hood. As a result of their discussions I bought a Cayman Gen2 cover from Porsche-Apart Ltd, at what seemed like a keen price, and it fits like a glove.

Welcome ...and join the garage Queen club [:D][:D][:D][:D] wow 12K in 14 years...post up some pics of both especially your Spyder.

ORIGINAL: Fire_2 also what engine mounts / battery are you thinking of?
Just an engine mount insert (fills the oem bush gaps) to keep it's on roads manners and a braile 21lb battery
